Our Story
Our hero is a second-grader named Henry, a boy whose life is drowning in mediocrity. His parents are divorced, and he lives primarily with his mother Laura. One morning Henry learns that his only friend Jerry, with whom Henry eats lunch and spends recess with every day, will be absent from school. Henry tries to get through this horrific day without Jerry, but does he stand a chance against 5th grader Kyle and his posse of kickball players? A sudden and seemingly meaningless hickup in Henry's daily life will ultimately lead to a day he'll always remember, for better or for worse.

What We Need and Why
I need to raise $2200 for this film, the majority of this money pertaining to transportation, location fees, food for the cast and crew, and insurance. I realize this is quite a lot of money to raise in such a short amount of time, and this is exactly why I need your help now more than ever.
Why make a weird movie like this, Mikey?
I've always wanted to make a film about the chaos and frustrations of childhood. I think it would be a great challenge for me to try and authenticate that in a film, and this is the most honest story I can tell regarding these themes.
Other Ways You Can Help
If you're short for cash, no worries! You'd be surprised how much spreading the word around about the film and this fundraiser is a huge help. Thank you so much and I look forward to making this film with a lot of help from you.
