thinking of getting a reel lawnmower as a petrol also makes me feel ill. hardly surprising as the amount of pollution crud that comes out of a petrol lawn mower and into the lungs is really high for the small amount of petrol used.
It's a great workout that you get used to after a while. I cut the grass mostly for exercise anyway. And I can mow @ 6am if I want to.
Hey, is it much longer to mow your lawn with this than with a gas mower? I consider buying one, but I have a pretty big yard. Takes me about 4 hours to mow it with my standard gas mower. Let's say that 4 hours smelling gas, earing the engine and feeling the vibrations are quite annoying.
In the south a reel mower will make your grass at least 30% greener than a regular mower. My neighbors always ask what fertilizer I use because my grass is better looking and greener than their lawn service. My answer is none, I use a reel mower.

This is cheaper, quieter, and requires less maintenance. The key is to play with the blade/cutter spacing to get the most effective cut. Personally, I use ~1mm spacing (i.e. still free-rolling) and it seems to work well. Had it for 12 months or so, still no problems.
It takes about 15 minutes to mow the front yard, which is flat. Cutting the grass in the backyard takes about 30 minutes, due to the incline with the house being built on a hill.

Q: What kind of warranty do you offer?
A: Cycle Mower X Trailer Kit come with 12 month limited manufacturer's warranty. Should you encounter some production related manufacturer’s defect during this time, we will take care of it according to our warranty. Q: What is your returns policy?
A:We are so confident that you will love your new Cycle Mower X so much, that we offer you a 14-day money back guarantee when you have received your bike if you are not satisfied. If you decide to return your bike it must be in new and resell-able condition. The bike must be returned to our warehouse and the shipping cost must be covered by you.
Q: What about spare parts? Can any bike shop assist me?
A: The components are fairly standard, so you can upgrade/repair/customize your bike as you wish with other parts either from us or your local bike shop.
Q: Who is responsible for any additional taxes, duties or VAT/GST?
A:The backer is responsible for any additional taxes, duties, and VAT. Taxes, duties, and VAT vary from country to country.
In the US, the taxes, duties, and VAT are 0%. In Europe, the amount is 25% in VAT and 6% in duties. For other countries, please check the regulations in your country before purchasing.

A: Cycle Mower X Trailer Kit is designed to fit most brand of reel mower, meaning that the size from 16" to 20" according to your reel mower.
Q: Can I get a refund?
A:Please refer to IndieGoGo's policy here.
In the event we are unable to deliver your Cycle Mower X trailer kit to your location due to any legal restrictions on the import or delivery of your kit, we shall refund you 75% of the amount on your indiegogo campaign contribution. You are responsible for determining whether its legal to import, deliver, and operate the Cycle Mower X Trailer Kit at your location. In the even you cancel your Indiegogo contribution more than 10 days after it was made, we will assess an administration fee of 25% of your pledge and shall refund the remainder.
Q: Can I change my order?
A: Yes, it is possible to upgrade or downgrade your size. If we are still in the campaign period, the best way is to ask for a refund is through your profile on Indiegogo where you’ll find a “refund” button. And then “back” a new perk/make the order again. If the order is locked and you are transferred to our database, we charge an additional fee on 50 USD in administration fees.
