Who We Are
Jim Novak is the founder of the Daily Timer. His son has severe asthma and doctors said it was very important to change the AC filters on a regular basis for cleaner air. Jim looked for a user-friendly reminding device for regular filter changes. After researching online, two things were discovered; there wasn’t a timer that counted down in days and there were many forgotten tasks that could be eliminated by this simple device. Thus, the Daily Timer was born.
ASI (Advertising Specialty Institute) - the largest media and marketing organization serving the advertising specialty industry with over 50 years of experience and 27,000 distributors/suppliers as members. ASI will be the initial "mass marketing" source.
DA International: a global manufacturer, which has over 22 years of experience in custom manufacturing and product development.
Our Goal
The requested funds of $30,000 will bring the Daily Timer to life. The funds will be used for the first run of 10,000 units including a minimum order of 100,000 computer chips. These prices include everything from production, printing and delivery to the end user.
90 days is the expected manufacturing time for the first round of units. Time will be significantly reduced for orders thereafter. We have teamed with a proven manufacturing and distribution company.
The Impact
The Daily Timer is a simple device to help its users to remember important tasks such as taking medication as prescripbed or changing air filters for cleaner air. These are two of the most forgotten tasks for all of us. Ask any doctor if they have clients that forget to take their medications – I can tell you what you’ll hear. Ask any parent with an asthmatic child if having a simple device to remind them to change their air filters regularly is useful.
Other Ways You Can Help
Please help us get the word out. Send our campaign link to anyone you know that could benefit from the Daily Timer. Think of doctors, nurses, home healthcare providers, HVAC companies, or anyone with asthma. We look forward to updating everyone on the Daily Timer’s success. Thank you for your support.
