It all starts with a sexy bike.
It all starts with a sexy bike.
It all starts with a sexy bike.
It all starts with a sexy bike.
It all starts with a sexy bike.
It all starts with a sexy bike. A double-edged sword if you will. An object that is your pride and joy, but also the subject of covetous hands. What if some deranged soul steals your precious bike? Takes it. Burns it. Ruins it. Or worse--rides it.
This paranoia is the subject of the independant short film Dandy Horse. The film explores the mind of an eccentric main character who has found the love of his life: his bicycle, or "Dandy Horse," as he would like her to be known. Dandy Horse delves into the farthest reaches of "Mr. Dandy's" fears of his dandy horse being taken from him. The movie ends with a twist that throws Mr. Dandy's concerns into a drastically new light.

This is an accesible, student produced film that contemplates the psychology of material posession that often goes unquestioned in our society. We feel this is an issue that the art of film presents especially effectively. However, we will not be able to question (and of course entertain) without your support.
Please help us make this a reality!
All of our actors and production crew members are volunteers. We are making no money off of this film. So all of your support goes directly towards basic production. Thankfully, we already have some key technical equipment (We will be shooting the film on a Cannon 5D Mark III DSLR Camera and editing in Final Cut). However, there are several props and location related expenses that must be adressed. With your help covering these expenses, we can make an amazing film.
ALL contributors will be invited to the first, free private screening of the film! Producer credits will be given to all contributors over $100!
