Short Summary

I'm an ordinary guy that decided to jump off the couch (at a heavy 250 pounds) and decided to keep coming back, day after day, until I run a marathon.  My training finishes just in time for me to be ready to run the Chicago Marathon.

PROBLEM:  The Chicago Marathon is full; the only way to run it is through a charity that has an open spot.

SOLUTION:  Raise $1000 and join the Have Dreams team in helping some amazing kids with autism improve their abilities to learn, inspire independence, and realize their full potential.

In order to make my dream of running the Chicago Marathon come true, I need to help others with their dreams first.  I wouldn't have it any other way!  :D  All money raised goes to Have Dreams (http://www.havedreams.org)!  I am covering my race entry and travel costs!

The Impact

Almost everyone I've ever spoken to can immediately answer the question "Who made a difference in your life when you were growing up?"  Be that person for one of the kids at Have Dreams.

Other Ways You Can Help

I completely understand if you aren't able to donate.  You can help me by getting the word out -- share this link!  Help me help others by getting me to the Chicago Marathon!
