It all started out with a search for the perfect watch. To no avail, determined to find a watch that is affordable and stylish, we decided to make it ourselves. From months of researching to sketching designs and to finally producing a prototype, our watches are finally ready to enter the market. What is more perfect than a high quality minimalistic watch? The Design Process

When we were designing our watch, we had 3 goals in mind:

·  Affordable (price range under $200)

·  Stylish (timeless and minimalistic)

·  High Quality

After discussing with various manufacturers, we realize that it was possible to produce affordable watches without having to compromise on quality. Therefore, every component within the watch was scrutinized to its tiniest details.

Design is our unique selling point and every design feature serves a purpose. To ensure that our design is suitable for both men and women, we kept the case at a reasonable size of 40 mm. Furthermore, to achieve the minimalistic look, we have removed all unnecessary distractions.

With that, we were ready to send in our design to our manufacturer for the production of the prototype. When we received the prototypes, we were satisfied with the end product. In short, we loved them!

Production Plan

With the final CAD technical drawings of the watch on hand coupled with the verification of quality and workmanship of our current manufacturer based on the prototype, production can be smoothly executed upon successful funding. Exquisitely designed, high quality leather boxes will also be produced to package our watches to complement the whole look.

Upon receiving the watches from our manufacturer, thorough inspections and quality checks will be carried out to ensure the highest quality of our product. Once quality control is completed, the watches will be securely packed and prepared for shipment.

Only a step away from production, the only thing missing is the initial order fee. We need to order a minimum of 200 watches to keep the price reasonable, and that's where you come in. By becoming a backer for our project, you will help us pay for the first production run, and in exchange you will receive an awesome watch at a discounted price!

By pledging today, you are pre-ordering a DARYLYNN watch and will be the first few to receive it. The first 200 backers will not only get the watch at a discounted price of $89 ($40 off the retail price of $129), but they will also have it with “Founders Edition” engraved on the case back. Risks and challenges

We realize creating and delivering a product is a complicated process and often comes with unexpected hiccups. That is why we have been preparing.

We have spent the past several months ensuring that our supply chain is in check. We also have a well-established working relationship with our manufacturer. We are prepared to fulfil every pledge.

To keep our backers in the loop, we will be having regular updates and sharing pictures as often as possible.

If somewhere along the way we find that there is a setback in production, or that we cannot make the timeline, we will be as transparent as possible to keep all of our backers informed.

In the end, we want to make DARYLYNN a long-lasting brand of affordable watches. We will do whatever it takes to fulfil our promises and to deliver watches that will exceed our backers’ expectations!
