Short Summary
Dateline Scotland is a satirical news bulletin, between 5/6 minutes long, released weekly until (at least) the middle of September.
Politics in Scotland has never been as interesting, and with so much at stake, it's really important to have some light relief. That's what Dateline Scotland is all about - laughter - of which there's been way too little throughout this referendum campaign.
The Dateline Scotland team, as individuals, don't claim to be neutral on the independence question, although the programme is not a campaign tool, nor does it set out to take any stance on Scottish politics. Our primary purpose is to make people laugh.
Now, there's a reason why there's not much high quality video footage being created outwith the big TV companies - it's REALLY expensive! We are fortunate that we have a great deal of the equipment and the skills to get the show up and running, but we do need a small amount of funds to keep it going.
What We Need & What You Get
We can do this for around £2000 - it'll be tight, but hey, it's a labour of love. That covers things like equipment running costs, petrol, and the sheer amount of time involved.
We'll keep producing the show up until (at least) the independence referendum on September 18th, as well as a special edition for polling day. We've already produced 3 programmes on a very limited budget (thanks to those who donated by the way), which will give you a very good idea of what we do.

Also, everyone who donates, gets a limited addition, limited appeal, signed photo of the Dateline Scotland team. Because we love you all that much!
