Days Without
By Miles Gower
Living in the ruins of the old world, Margo and her guardian Martin are survivors. But when Martin’s memory starts to decay, a choice must be made.
Hi!
Welcome to the crowdfunding page for Days Without. With your support, we will be able to bring this film to life and tell a story that's close to many of us. Although hoping to raise £2,000, any contribution would be greatly appreciated and a huge help to our film. As well as this, we would love to be able to get involved with our audience and give something back to you, so check out the perks and become part of our film!
About Days Without
Days Without is about many things. At it's core, is about a relationship breakdown, due to Alzheimers disease, between a young girl and her elderly guardian. This breakdown is something that a lot of people experience, ourselves included, but is rarely looked at in film. It's a tragic feeling to see someone who you've always known one way, slowly deteriorate before your eyes. On the other hand, it's a coming of age story of a young girl as she learns to grow up and take care of herself. We want to tell this story because we feel that it is important to address these bittersweet emotions and the hard choices that come with it.
Why Are We Crowdfunding?
So far, Days Without has been funded off of our own backs but as we continue with pre-production, we're starting to run out of funds. With your support, you will be able to make this the best it can be by helping with travel costs, actors rates, production design and accommodation. We would also love to have our audience be involved in the film and for you to know that you made this film happen. Also have you seen those perks?! ;)
Where the Money Goes
The money will go on a wide range of departments from production design to post-production and these are all laid out in the pie chart below.

Other Reasons to Contribute
Not only will you be supporting the next generation of filmmakers, but you will also be supporting the up and coming career of the incredibly talented Lily Ann Harland Stubbs!
![]()
We are incredibly lucky to have Lily on board. Lily impressed us all with her confidant and emotional audition. Her mature and professional acting capabilities will take this film to the next level and we can't wait to start working with her and bringing Margo to life. Lily's other work includes having worked with James Cosmo and McBusted; just to name a few!
Who Are We?
We are all current or ex Brighton Film School students with three, or more, years of experience under our belts making films. This will be our graduating film and a business card for our next years in the industry.
