I'm a linguist.  I moved to Washington, DC with a dream of changing the world for the better through my language skills.  About 8 months ago, I took a job with a company based in Saudi Arabia, Education Experts.  I was misled in my impressions that it was a financially stable, growing company.  Three separate times, my paycheck has been extremely overdue.  

In the same few months, my roommate stopped paying rent and lied to me about it, even forging bank documents to convince me that he had.  By the time the truth came out, four months of unpaid rent had accrued.  

Due to mounting debts, my dog and I are facing eviction.  All I want to do now is make home to my family in Seattle by Christmas time.
