Deeply Rooted Magazine is an independent, quarterly publication geared towards Christ-following wives and moms. We use beautiful imagery, clean design, and scripturally-sound articles to show our readers how the Gospel is woven into every aspect of being a woman, wife, and mom. Our goal through this campaign is to raise funding for the government applications that allow us to incorporate and become a non-profit, as well as the ability to print our very first issue! Our biggest goal is to distribute this magazine to as many Christian women as possible.

We have six sections within our magazine, each based off of roles we carry as women:

• Christ-follower (Christian living and theology -- ultimately woven into all categories)
• Help-mate (Marriage)
• Mother (Parenting)
• Creator (Artistry and DIY)
• Keeper of the Home (Homemaking)
• Individual (Hobbies, Career, Service, and Ministry)

WHAT WE NEED

We are not here to make money. Our goal is that by becoming a religious non-profit and having the ability to accept tax-deductible donations, we will be able to make our digital publication free to anyone and off-set the expensive cost of printing.

Our goal is to raise $11,200 and as you see in our fabulous pie chart, most of the expenses go toward the product you receive from your contributions. There are costs needed beyond this figure, but we tried to boil it down to the most essential needs because this is an all or nothing campaign. If we do not reach our funding goal, we will not receive any funding and all contributions will be refunded. We trust in God's full provision and ask you to consider giving. By investing in our cause, you are changing hearts and lives.

WHAT YOU GET

If you look at the right sidebar, you will see the different reward levels for each contribution. Each reward includes sales tax and shipping (with the exception of inter national shipping.)

At $50, you receive this eco-friendly tote along with a print and digital copy of our first issue. It beautifully displays the hand-lettered verse, Colossians 2:6-7, our magazine verse. This tote is made of thick, 12-ounce cotton canvas that is made of natural, biodegradable material and is dyed a dark navy color. The dark color means it won't get dirty as easily, which we know is a must for moms especially! The size is 11" x 14" x 5" with an extra long handle. It's perfect for carrying books, our magazines, and anything else you may want to throw in there.

If you give the first $300 donation, you will receive this one-of-a-kind wood-burned art which has been generously donated by Hand-Lettering Co. This 16.25"x14" was carefully crafted by hand. It beautifully displays our magazine's verse, Colossians 2:6-7. Along with it, you will receive our eco-friendly tote, a printed copy and a digital copy.

THE NEED

Pinterest is proof that women are searching. It could be a workout plan, a perfectly curated wardrobe, or a collection of self-help quotes. If you untangle all the webs, you will find one common denominator and that is the desire to improve self and quality of life. Unfortunately, many Christian women are caught in the under-current of it all. Deeply Rooted Magazine serves to battle the things in life that work overtime to steal our attention and affection away from God. We strive to deliver incredibly-rich content, written and created by published authors, real life women, and talented artists. Our Gospel-centered articles are filled with practical application, forming a magazine that will encourage, inspire, and challenge you with solid, Biblical truth.

There are a lot of great, Christian resources out there, but many people never pick them up because of the way they look. People judge a book by its cover and in today's age, high quality design is important. On the other hand, there are many well-designed publications out there, but the content is lacking. We haven't found a Christian publication that provides both: the scripturally-sound content and good design. We want to change that.

THE REWARD

We have already received an overwhelming response to our cause. So many women have written us and commented about how they have been encouraged by our social media posts and sample issue. We are excited that there are women out there that want to be "deeply rooted" women and that will translate into their marriage, parenting, relationships, and home.

Not only does this magazine bless the consumer, it also blesses the people on staff and contributing. We have 40 writers, artists, staff members, and guest contributors for our first issue and each one of them have expressed how grateful they are for the ability to use their gifts of writing, painting, designing, etc. for such a great cause. These people are published authors, stay at home moms, pastors, renowned photographers, and much more. Beyond that, they all share in our vision and want to be a part of this movement.

The central idea of our magazine for 2014 is: Becoming Deeply Rooted. This takes hold in the following themes for the year: seed, plant, branch and root. In order to become a deeply rooted woman, we need to start at the very beginning: seed to root. This concept is woven throughout all our articles.

• HEAVIER PAPER - All 96-pages are printed on high-quality, offset-opaque paper with a dull-matte 130# cover.
