Download your content wirelessly:
Wirelessly download content by simply connecting to the WiFi hotspot at home, work, or your pool. Use the same playlists you already created on Spotify or the stations you created on Pandora. Download and sync your Audible audiobooks to the same spot you left off reading or listening to on your phone (No more attempts to fast forward through audiobooks).
Compatible with wired or Bluetooth headphones:
With each pre-order of the Delphin, we’ll send you your choice of waterproof headphones to go with it.
-
Swimbuds Sport Waterproof Headphones have an advanced design for the best possible sound underwater. Multiple sizes and styles of earbud tips are guaranteed to help you find a good seal for any ear.
-
Swimbuds Bluetooth Waterproof Headphones are the first waterproof bluetooth headphones designed for use when actually submerged. Water distorts bluetooth signals too much for headphones to work when separated from the source of the signal. The Delphin solves that by being 100% waterproof and small enough to clip on your goggle strap. Both headphones work great above water as well!

Why do I need the Delphin?
If you already exercise, you probably listen to music while you run or hear the upbeat playlists blasting at your local gym. This music helps with more than just having fun or ambiance. Getting “pumped up” has real effects on the human brain.
Music helps us disassociate. When you listen to music while you exercise, disassociation helps you become less aware of the pain and the fatigue that your body experiences, enabling you to go that extra set. With swimming specifically, music can also help you synchronize your movements. When that happens, you actually use your oxygen more efficiently and give yourself a better workout.
Ultimately, music can play a key role in your results whether you exercise to recover from an injury or you train to compete in an upcoming race. The Delphin enables you to easily access all of your favorite music on a device that will not get in the way of your swim.
Underwater Audio History
Underwater Audio started five and a half years ago out of a true need for a solution. Todd hurt his back in a car accident and began swimming for physical therapy. With 25 years of experience as an engineer, he decided that there should be a better way to listen to music while you swim. He then asked his son, Scott, a marketing major at the time, to help him with his idea to start a company. They spent the last six years testing various methods to bring music underwater and make it just as easy as listening to music on your phone. After some probably not-so-safe experiments involving transmitters and water, they’ve come to the conclusion that radio waves and water don’t mix. Scott and Todd ultimately solved the problem of streaming music underwater by avoiding the issue altogether. The Delphin enables swimmers to download their music onto the device for offline listening and swim with music to their heart’s content.
