Overview
Have you ever been asked to make small donation when checking out of a store? Since we're innately generous, we typically make the donation. The average American gives more than $10/mo in checkout counter giving. At CaringCent, we believe you should have choice and the cause you care about should have access to these donations. With our program, you can now redirect your change to the cause you care about - any IRS-allowed nonprofit -and receive a tax receipt at the end of each month.

There's a Big Problem in Philanthropy...

Think about the last time you were checking out a big box store, were you asked to make a small donation? I’m sure you made the donation because we’re all innately generous.

But, here’s the back story:  the micro-donation market, defined as small donations, is nearly $2b year.

And, here’s the problem: you – the consumer – don’t have a choice in which cause receives your change AND the cause you care most about doesn’t have access to these donations.   In fact, the average American makes nearly $10.00 in checkout counter donations per month AND only a handful of large nonprofits have access to these donations.

At CaringCent, we’ve democratized this process by giving you the ability to redirect your checkout counter change to the cause you care most about.  And, we provide EVERY IRS-allowed nonprofit with access to these donations.  Donors now have the ability to get credit from Uncle Sam for these small donations, as you receive a tax receipt at the end of every month.

With CaringCent, to use a Thomas Friedman book title:  the small donation market is now flat.

The CaringCent platform (https://donate.caringcent.com) is in production and has thousands of users across the country.  Our users are part of the “Your Change, Your Choice” movement.  And, hundreds of nonprofits – from big to small – are using our platform to empower their donors to redirect their checkout counter change to their organization.

We are now in need of growth capital to continue our mission.   Here’s the groovy thing about an investment in CaringCent:  your donation has a huge impact.   Based on our data, every $1.00 invested in CaringCent yields nearly $12.00 in new donations to causes across the country.

We’re all involved in civic life – supporting our local nonprofit ecosystem and the nonprofits that provide support and vibrancy to our communities.  If you like, before you invest, ask the causes you care about to validate our approach (www.caringcent.com)   And, you can join the “Your Change, Your Choice” movement and kick the tires on our program.  Go to https://donate.caringcent.com, find your cause and redirect your change.

With every opportunity, there is risk.  The risk in our business is that not as many people think the same way we do:  that folks really like giving their change away to random causes.  The program is live, has users, has nonprofits.
