Thank you for visiting our campaign! We appreciate your feedback and support. The Mach 3 design was inspired by a timeless frame shape, enhanced with hand-crafted wooden temples and acetate material. Every element of the design came from months of research and development. Working with wood and acetate was a challenge but after continued testing and working with a great manufacturing team, we were able to produce a quality product with you in mind. Wood is not too forgiving so adding a spring hinge allows the frame to fit perfectly to your face. For us, the coolest thing is the comfort and wearability of the Mach 3 and we're excited to share this moment with you. Comfort is key and we feel we really nailed it by adding 5 barrel spring hinges to the temple of the frame.

• How do I take care of my Desiar sunglasses? 

We recommend that you take care of your Desiar Eyewear like a piece of original art. Your frames are handcrafted, manufactured for durability and everyday wear. We suggest that to maintain your Desiar frames, you keep them in a safe place. We recommend that you do not put them in your pockets, backpack, purse, etc. If you are not wearing them, place them in the hard case shipped with the sunglasses and/or the microfiber cloth in a safe place out of the sun and water.

• Is shipping really free within the US? 
  

Yes, all supporters and items shipped to any part of the US is FREE! (International supporters, please add $10.00 to your order to cover costs). 

• Can you come back and purchase after you've supported once? 

Yes, you can come back and contribute again to select another reward. 

• Can I put my prescription (Rx) in the Mach 3 sunglasses? 

Yes, you can! All Desiar sunglasses are designed with a 6 base curve which allows you to put your prescription in the frame. You must take the sunglasses to an eye-care professional. We do not offer this service through this campaign. 

• Can you change or cancel my perk? 
  

Unfortunately, we do not have any control of our backers contributions. With that, we will do everything in our power to help assist, if help is needed.

The Impact: Shades of Change

Desiar shades not only represent our product but also the gradual influence we all can make to help change the world. We do this by partnering with a non-profit organization we feel is making the world a better place. We've teamed up with Thirst Project and committed to help build a clean drinking water well for a community in need. What does this mean? For each pair of Desiar sunglasses sold through this campaign and on our website thereafter will provide clean drinking water for someone in need for 10 years.
