Dewson School Community Refugees Welcome is Launching a Sponsorship Campaign and Challenge!

We need to fundraise  $30,000 in 30 days to prepare to sponsor a refugee family.

The Dewson School community decided to come together and take action on the refugee crisis.

We all feel a sense of urgency to the current refugee situation and we hope that it will soon be easier to sponsor refugees.  For now we are reaching out to the broader school community and our friends and families to make this sponsorship fundraising goal happen!

Other schools are also starting to take action. Given what we see and hear in the news today, we believe that 1000 schools across Canada could make the same commitment before the end of September. Spread the word to your school and community!
