Be delighted by the endless combinations Diah offers.
Its hollow design and magnetic clasps give you the opportunity to wrap it around tree trunks, poles or even, wine bottles. You can also create larger configurations such as chandeliers and halos if you’re into DIY.
"How can we do more with less?"
This question, in particular, inspired Diahs' design.
We started out with the goal of creating a structurally minimal product both in size & weight that when assembled, would command a presence far greater, than the sum of its parts.
Everything from the structure, electronics and even the manufacturing processes, have been stripped and reassessed to use as little as possible.
We believe that driving sustainability is not only defined by materials used, it goes down to the final detail of shipping, packaging and minimising waste. To stick by these principles, we've minimised weight and designed for flat packability making shipping easy.

Diah Timeline:
April 2017 - The first forms of Diah were prototyped.
August 2017 - Once we were happy with the functionality of Diah, we created a small batch of 50 Diahs to observe possible lead times with our vendors. We also used them for our brand video. Our inner circle of friends and family also got a chance to see our prototype and offer feedback.
October 2017 - After a few tweaks and a lot of 3D printed mock-ups of possible multi-functional hooks, we ordered in our first batch of 500 Diahs that are currently being used as marketing samples.
November 2017 - We launch on Kickstarter! We're waiting to hit minimum order to hit the go button with our vendors! The sooner we reach our goals, the sooner we get production going.
We're also refining Diah to have a single clasp with a multi-functional hook like the one below.

December 2017 - Shipping of Batch 1 the first batch of Diahs begins! (Kickstarter Lot closed)
February 2018 - Shipping of Batch 2 begins!
Risks and challenges:
We've spent a lot of time building strong partnerships with experienced manufacturers to mitigate as many risks as possible, but we know there will still be unexpected challenges along the way. We will always be transparent and inform our backers of potential hurdles.
Ship date:
We have built in extra time for the manufacturing process and are confident we will ship by the projected dates. We will always keep you informed if things take longer than planned.
Product:
We have taken the following steps to ensure that we deliver the best quality product: - Built over 15 working prototypes. We will only make design refinements to enhance the product experience. - Extensively tested prototypes for performance and durability.
Manufacturing:
We have established relationships with experienced contract manufacturers to mitigate the risk of delays by material suppliers and to ensure quality control is implemented to the highest level. We have built test prototypes with our manufacturer and they fully understand our product, specifications and production timeline.
