About my Campaign & its immediate global impact:
Covid-19 has been fatally instructive to humanity; this deadly virus has forced everyone around the globe, regardless of race, color, nationality, economic status etc to seriously reckon with the fact that ---we are all In this together!
My fundraising campaign titled - DIAMOND OF HOPE - is a screenplay project that is based on a remarkable life-changing true story between a 14-year old African boy (me), an altruistic kind and compassionate conservative white American pilot from Minnesota, who was employed in the diamond mines in Sierra Leone to fly boxes of diamonds.... before the rebel war which gave rise to that bloody and atrocious Hollywood movie "Blood Diamond" starring Leonardo DiCaprio.
My story will unite and bridge the divisions that exists within us here in America, and my story will equally confront the intolerance(s) and the indifference(s) that also exists within our 'villages & tribes' in our global village.
If we as global citizens want to continue to sustain our posterity for future generations, then it is equally incumbent upon us to embrace, appreciate, and nourish our individual unique human dignities and differences, ever reminding us of our inescapable symbiotic connections that--- we are all interconnected and dependent on one another.
My screenplay - DIAMOND OF HOPE - which has been read and critiqued by top redemptive film and media authorities has a compelling and a timely content, a solid marketing hook and a solid worldwide audience in waiting. My screenplay will inspire audiences as they see the great value of faith, interracial friendships, perseverance against great many odds, and has a real potential to make a significant, inspiring, impact in our world.
Furthermore, my project will reinforce the universal virtues of love and forgiveness, restore faith, hope, and dignity in our individual unique humanity. My screenplay is adapted from my memoir book titled Friendship: A True Story of Adventure, Goodwill, and Endurance published March 2016 in the United States by Telemachus Press LLC. Available at Amazon, Barnes & Noble, Goodreads, Waterstones in the United Kingdom. Pls see my project's website at www.francismandewah.com

*This altruistic American pilot met me, at Yengema, in 1976, and out of his own goodwill and generosity voluntarily chose to give me generous support and opportunity to education at a Catholic boarding school, brought me out of Africa to America thru the Sahara Desert... and he paid my tuition, room, and board at Massachusetts thereby transformed my life, rescuing me from the bloody Hollywood film "Blood Diamond" rebel war, to freedom and opportunity in America. My Risks & Challenges:
Even though my script has been read, analyzed and critiqued by top redemptive media authorities in the business who have all concluded saying my script is a good fit for the big screen, has a timely and compelling content, a solid marketing hook and a solid worldwide audience in waiting but because I am a self-published author and an indie producer with zero resources, zero connections to Hollywood, my film project may not get the chance at publicity it needs without your kind and generous considerations.
I sincerely thank you for your generous support. Ciao!
