Short Summary
Dirty Beautiful is an independent feature film we are shooting in Los Angeles this September. It’s the story of two young, lonely people who come hurtling into each other's life. It's not quite like any love story you've seen before.
We've raised our shooting budget and assembled a great team. But after the shooting stops, there's still post-production. Editing, color correction, sound editing, etc. The things that make a movie... well, look like a movie. This project has been in the works for two years now. We've come all this way and it's finally happening! But now we need your help to finish the dream.
What We Need & What You Get
We've set our funding goal at $5,000. That's the minimum we need to complete the film and bring it to you the audience. Here's a fun fact: Our whole film could be shot and edited for the cost of 1.6 seconds of The Avengers! So your contribution goes a long ways with us. Every dollar will bring us that much closer to having a terrific independent film that you could soon be enjoying. All the while knowing you actually helped make this movie happen.
And on Indiegogo, you get when you give. A DVD of the finished film, an Associate Producers credit... walking the red carpet at a Dirty Beautiful premiere. Really? Yep, check out our perks. The rewards are tiered, so the more you can give the more cool perks you get!
Other Ways You Can Help
Of course some people just can’t contribute, but that doesn’t mean you can’t help. Share, post and tweet the link to our project, tell your friends. Get the word about Dirty Beautiful out any way you can!

Producer and Production Manager Cameron McIntyre
It all started with a Bolex and determination. Years later I am producing my sixth feature film, Dirty Beautiful. Feature films, short films I remember them all like we wrapped production yesterday. My first short 3AM Eternal earned me my degree from Brooks Institute. That same year while still in school I was hired to manage my first feature A Father’s Son. From one film to another is pretty much how it works. In between there have been a few short films, commercials, and more than one Mexican music video.
For two years I was the Production Specialist for the California Film Commission where I consulted on productions such as Kill Bill and Spiderman as well as the X-Files and Fear Factor.
Dirty Beautiful will be my third film I producing with Justin Hogan. The first two: The American’s are Coming and Stanley’s Gig staring Faye Dunaway, played to strong festival audiences worldwide and won their fair share of awards. The Starz Network disturbed Stanley’s Gig.
Over the years I have seen the progress of film production. From hand cranking a 16mm Bolex and literally editing the film by hand to today’s digital domain. And during that technical revolution one thing has never changed, the story. Without a good story all the technology in the world can’t make a good film. I am excited to work with Justin again and wouldn’t be aboard if I didn’t believe in Tim, and David and Kat.
