he world stay healthy, active and learn the importance of respect for one another through sport. Hopefully these lessons will keep them healthy and active, and foster better relationships and behaviour in their everyday lives.Ultimate Frisbee is a self-officiated sport that relies on the concept of Spirit of the Game! It is one of the fastest growing sports in North America and our goal is to help share this amazing game with more people around the World, especially the younger generations.

What We Need & What You Get
HOW IT WORKS
Everything starts with your donation. By donating at least $22 you will receive one disc and also will send one to a child in the Ukraine or Russia. Once the discs are bought, we collaborate with our Partners to distribute the discs: one to you and one to a kid in Eastern Europe.
All the discs are official Ultimate Frisbee Discraft discs with a design created by our wonderful artist, Tracie Ching.
DELIVER AND DISTRIBUTE
With the help of our partners in Europe (Russian Flying Disc Federation and Ukrainian Flying Disc Federation) the discs will be shipped, taken through customs and distributed throughout schools in both countries.
We already have a list of schools in both countries whose students will be introduced to the game and taught the basic skills and the importance of sportsmanship. Every school with get between 20 & 30 discs depending on the amount raised throughout this project.
Our amazing partner in North America, athletic apparel company VC Ultimate, will help us deliver the 2nd half of the discs to every single one of you.

COST
To make this project worthwhile, we will need to sell a minimum of 300 discs, which means another 150 discs will go to the kids in Ukraine and 150 discs to the kids in Russia.
The basic donation of 22 dollars will cover the cost of the discs and shipment.
Other options:
- with a donation of $100 you also get a DVD with documentary Chasing Sarasota.
- with a donation of $200 you will also get a signed jersey by one of the top players/coaches in the game (Mark Lloyd, Kurt Gibson, Beau Kittridge, Miranda Roth, Gwen Ambler or Alex Snyder).
- if you would like to purchase a set of discs for your team - you can get 18 discs for $350 (and 18 discs will go to kids in Eastern Europe). You will also get a Thank you letter from the high school that you supplied the discs to.
- if you don't need a disc for yourself you can either purchase one for a kid for $12 (or several of them) or for $18 you can buy yourself a deck of UltiCards and we'll send a disc to a kid
On top of the discs you will receive, we will also post photos, videos and recaps of the presentations we host at different schools in Russia and the Ukraine, to make sure you get to enjoy your contribution even more. So stay tuned!

The Impact
Our goals:
- create awareness of these difficult times Eastern Europe is currently going through
- let YOU give kids in Ukraine and Russia the gift of Ultimate Frisbee, a sport which will hopefully teach them the importance of sportsmanship and respect for their opponents through the fundamental aspect of this sport - Spirit of The Game!
- our long-term goal, once providing these schools with the basic skills and equipment of Ultimate, is to organize camps and hat tournaments for the children from both countries, and eventually uniting them through the game of Ultimate Frisbee.
Currently there is a terrible conflict happening in Eastern Europe between two neighbouring countries who used to be one big country, USSR. Many citizens of both countries used to consider each other pretty much brotherhood nations.
The Crimean Crisis, which began earlier this year, forced the two nations into conflict. The fight for political power and claim over the resource-rich land has devastating consequences for the inhabitants of both countries, and especially the younger generation. It kills us to see how people who used to be brothers now fight and start hating each other, and how kids absorb everything the media feeds them with and grow up in the atmosphere of violence, hatred towards neighbours and disrespect for one another.

A lot of top Ultimate Frisbee players traveled to the Ukraine and Russia in recent years to host clinics and share their love of Ultimate Frisbee with enthusiasts in those countries. We are proud to have some of them as our ambassadors and contributors!

Risks & Challenges
An obstacle we need to overcome to achieve our goals:
- Some officials in education systems in Russia or Ukraine might find our intentions too political and might not be willing to collaborate with us. But we are going to present our project to them as apolitically as possible , one with only the intention of letting kids play a fun game and learn the valuable lessons this sport has to offer.
