NPP is a network of photographers and activists which aims to tell the story of Palestine in pictures. In the four years of our existence we have produced exhibitions of Palestinian photography in Gaza, Edinburgh, London, Mexico and the USA. Our work has been shown in the Scottish Parliament, and the world-famous Edinburgh International Fringe Festival.

Many people worldwide do not know that millions of Palestinians still live as refugees in their own country as well as overseas.

Our next project "Displaced" will show the lives of refugees in Gaza, the West Bank and overseas.
We are in the process of inviting photographers to submit photographs illustrating our theme. From these we will select 24 images which we will then combine for our final exhibition. On this occasion we have agreed to pay a small financial reward to the photographers selected.
This is the first time we will show our work in Ramallah. We are always eager to extend our Network widely, and if you would like to join us just get in touch. You don't have to be an expert photographer. We need help with web maintenance, fund-raising and media contact. Our photographers gain a great deal of encouragement from being exhibited on an international stage, and your contributions will be enormously helpful in keeping alive the spirit of creative resistance for the Palestinian people as a whole. Your support will help us to cover printing, framing, venue and promotional costs as well as fees for the selected images.
We now have a successful record of producing seven different exhibitions in the four years of our existence, and so we are confident that we can carry of this latest project without major difficulties.

We aim to display the exhibition in three locations - Gaza City, Ramallah and Edinburgh (the Fringe Festival again) and have secured venues in all our target cities. We are ready to go once more with your generous assistance.
Here's how the funding will work:
£1,500 (1,867 USD) will allow us to show the exhibition to the many thousand international visitors that visit the Edinburgh Festival Fringe every year.
For a further £700 ( 870 USD) we can show it in Ramallah.
Another £700 (870 USD) will help us mount the exhibition in Gaza.
So, for a total of £2,900 (3610 USD) we can tell the story in three locations.
On top of this we need something like £300 (375 USD) to cover this crowd-funding appeal, leaving us with a sum £3,200 (3985USD) to cover all our charges.
Here's how it breaks down:
Fees:24x£30 = £720 (896 USD)
Printing/Framing: 24x3centres £1440 (1793 USD)
Publicity: £200 (250 USD)
Venue hire +Hospitality: £400 (500 USD)
Misc. Expenses(travel, fee transfer charges etc.) £140 ( 175 USD)
Please note: Unfortunately, Indiegogo only accepts donations in US Dollars. If you would like to donate an equivalent in other currencies, these exchange rates as determined on 27th April 2017 may be of help: 1 USDollar = £0.78, or 3.6 ILS or 0.7 JOD
So a contribution of £10 would be 12.9 USD, 47 ILS, or 9.15 JOD.
£20 would be 25.8 USD, 94 ILS or 18.3 JOD
& £50 would be 64.5 USD,230 ILS or 45.75 JOD and so on.
