DIVINE?
DIVINE is a short film that follows two young, very different, Russian expatriates living in Berlin with an aim to explore how our unfulfilled dreams and desires soon catch up with us. Alina, forced into the dark work of prostitution, finds herself speaking to Anna, a well kept woman, after she answers a ringing telephone booth phone. Faced with questions of her aspirations, she is left with a two-pronged path and a decision to make.
Both of the characters will be played by the same actress, Amelia Crutchley, a fresh London-based actress who will be traveling to Berlin for the shoot.
We want to capture the soul of the city as we present the two contrasting worlds, personalities and lives of our characters using detailed frames and an elegant and deeply crafted soundscape.

- As the cast and almost all of the crew will be working for FREE, we just need €1200 to cover the BARE ESSENTIALS; our DOP; locations; vehicles and food and most importantly... Coffee.

DIVINE will explore the life of a 'call girl' from Russia working in Berlin and her dream of living the 'good life'.
Germany has been named as Europe's biggest brothel with women from all over Eastern Europe traveling to Berlin to work in prostitution.
- We want the audience to feel contrast of personality between a rich young woman and a call girl when they have a critical conversation on the phone.

Risks & Challenges
Most people are working for free on DIVINE, but without the €1200 we can't pay for the locations, DOP, camera hire, transport and some food for the crew while they're working throughout the night. Give us a hand and we guarantee a quality film!
