About Door 2 Door

In the gripping horror short film "Fibered Realities," best friends Ta'mill and Roscoe are just two salesmen stuck in a dead-end job selling fiber internet. During what they think will be a routine day, their GPS unexpectedly leads them to a mysterious residence off the beaten path. Upon arrival, they are greeted by an eerie house assistant whose peculiar demeanor sets the tone for the bizarre discoveries that lie ahead. As they navigate through the unsettling corridors of the house, they stumble upon a series of haunting anomalies that blend juvenile curiosity with spine-chilling horror. What begins as an ordinary sales call spirals into a nightmarish encounter that challenges their understanding of reality, pushing the boundaries of friendship and sanity.

The Impact

The production of this film is significant because it will likely be submitted to various film festivals upon completion. Creating an Afro-surrealist film is essential as it provides a unique platform to explore and represent the diverse experiences of Black individuals through a blend of reality and surrealism. This genre enables filmmakers to delve into the mystical and metaphorical elements of Black culture, offering a fresh perspective that challenges conventional narratives. By addressing complex themes such as race, identity, and oppression in innovative and thought-provoking ways, Afro-surrealist films serve as powerful social commentaries. Additionally, they allow for creative freedom, enabling filmmakers to experiment with storytelling and visuals, ultimately enriching the cinematic landscape with diverse and authentic voices.

Why We Need You

Creating a film requires significant funding, and to successfully bring our vision to life, we need your support. Unlike big studio films with endless resources, our film will operate on a tight budget. This is where you come in — we truly NEED your help. Your contribution will make a tremendous difference, and we assure you that every penny will be spent efficiently throughout the production.

A major portion of your donation will go towards our ambitious Production Design goals. We plan to construct and design our own sets, and to make these thrilling ideas a reality, we need as much funding as possible.
