Short Summary

What is my Project?

• Hi my name is Blake Von Tilzer. My entire life has revolved around my love and passion for the movies. Some of my favorite films include Psycho, Cinema Paradiso, Taxi Driver, and Network. I believe that film is more than a means of entertainment but true art that expresses a multitude of emotions and feelings. The power of the cinema resonates within me and I am now ready to take the helm of director, so I can show the world my art.                                       
• Double Sided follows the story of Kyran an FBI informant tasked with finding a lost drug named A74. His trail leads him to Malcolm an aging dealer who dreams of leaving his business and retiring in mexico. Kyran plans on recovering the A74 and taking Malcolm down. Meanwhile Malcolm is planning to use A74 to frame Kyran for all of his crimes. Once the A74 is mysteriously stolen though both of there plans begin to fall apart. The Film is the most important aspect of my life at the moment and I have a push to make it into a reality.         
• Double Sided has been a passion project of mine for almost 2 years now, and I feel as if it will be the best project for my directorial debut.  Starting the script over a year ago, i felt like the film needed to be something that not only told an interesting story, but showed the darker side of human nature as well. Indiegogo is answer to my prayers. Your contribution will go towards financing a film, that will change the age barrier in Film forever. I am only 16 years old, and i believe that people of all ages should be able to express their artistic visions. We have a story that we want to share with the world and your donations will allow my company and I too turn our vision, into a reality.

What We Need & What You Get

• We need the $20,000 in order to purchase equipment for the film shoot, and to pay actors. Some of the equipment will include: Cameras, Lens, Lights, Shotgun Mics, SD Cards, and a Stedicam. A portion of the funding will also go towards renting out locations. We already have the means to put us through post production once shooting is completed. You're contribution will go towards the production of an Independent Film!!!
• If you contribute to the project than you'll receive some pretty neat rewards. Do You want an official copy of the Double Sided Screenplay? Do you want an Autographed Production T-Shirt? Do you want to be credited as an Executive Producer? Well with your contributions you could receive all that PLUS MORE!! All Contributions come with a DVD Copy of the Film!
• If our financial goals are not met than the founding will go towards purchase of the production equipment but our actors will be enduring major pay cuts, and our distribution path will not be as solid. The Film will be still be completed if our goal is not met.

Why is Double Sided Different from the rest?

Double Sided is the first film of its kind to be professionally made with an entire adolescent cast and crew. We are trying to push the boundaries of how a film can be made. Film is a medium that nobody should be barred from. Film is a medium that thrives on new forms of expressionism and objectivism. Double Sided will bring this to the line light. You can be a part of creating the next generation of filmmakers!

Risks & Challenges

The most obvious challange is that some people will not take my film or myself seriously due to my age.

• I can assure the public though that film is my entire life. I have spent years planning and developing a style that I am now ready to share with the world. I will overcome these challenges by showing the world just have artistic and serious I am about my work. I have a drive that no other filmmakers in my age group posses. I am ready to work to better the medium of film in the future.
