Epic games is proud to announce
our first tabletop game, currently titled Dwarves.
This is a fixed
funding campaign, which means Dwarves will
only be realized if we reach our goal which is $150,000. Thus,
your funding is very important to us and it counts double because you will help
our first game to be developed.
Dwarves is a highly
strategic and action oriented tabletop game for 2 to 6 players, inspired by
various mythologies of our world, including dwarves and terrifying monsters with exciting weapons and armor sets, as well as a detailed rule set, cards
and dices.

Please be aware that this is an Alpha project. It is not final. Rules may still be changed, layout and graphics may also still be altered. So, if you see anything in here that isn't the same later, understand that during the Indiegogo the project is still in development and all aspects are subject to improvements.
STRETCH GOALS
The components of the Dwarves tabletop game that we’ve presented is our standard pack, but we have several of ideas for stretch goals, should we be fortunate enough to unlock.
If reach them, we can make the game even better and more desirable.
Below we present our stretch goals:
All
orders at the $95 level will receive the above stretch goals.
Basic Game Scenario
Dwarves
is a turn-based tabletop game for two to six players. The standard version is
played on a board depicting an ancient map of several territories. The object
of the game is to occupy every territory on the board and in doing so,
eliminate the other players. Dwarves are considered the good characters and
Shadow-killers are monsters of the ancient darkness, thus, they are the bad
characters.Players
control armies with which they attempt to capture territories from other
players, with results determined by dice rolls.
In
particular, Dwarves
have leaders(equal to 20 points) and army followers: axe soldiers
(equal to 1 point), sword soldiers (equal to 2 points), flaming dragons
(equal to 15 points) and wolves (equal to 7 points). Shadow-killers also have
leaders(equal to 20 points) and army followers: spiked morning club
monster soldiers (equal to 1 point), sword monster soldiers (equal to 2
points), ice dragons (equal to 15 points), and hyenas (equal to 7 points).
At the beginning, each player places his/her figures (20 points) plus
his/her leader (another 20 points) on the cities of the playing surface. The
players throw a dice and the one who brings the highest number chooses first
the city he/she wants to occupy. The players can also agree the starting army
points in order to maximize or minimize the playing time.
As regards to the goals of the
game: Whoever has the last surviving figure(s) wins. Alternately, the player
who captured the most number of territories after 20 rounds wins. Also here,
the players can agree the number of rounds for the game to finish in order to
maximize or minimize the playing time.
Each player draws three cards
at the beginning of the game which can be exchanged at the end of each round.
The cards cannot be exchanged before the game starts. Also, every five rounds,
the player throw the dices and the one who rolls the highest number in dices,
draws a card which can exchange at the end of each round. The cards cannot be
exchanged at the same time.
How the game is played: The
attacker rolls a dice in the territory he/she wants to attack. The defender of that
territory rolls also a dice. The one who brings the highest number on the dice
wins and the loser must extract form the game the army points from the
difference of the dices. For example, if the attacker brought 6 on dice and the
defender brought 5, the attacker wins. Then, the defender must put out of the
game 1 point army (difference in dice points: 6-5=1). The attacker can attack
the neighboring city he/she chooses. Also, the player can choose not to attack
but this choice cannot be chosen two times on a row.
*Shipping information - Please take note
We will be charging shipping
after the end of the Indiegogo campaign, based on the actual costs incurred to
ship. We will collect this through our pledge manager after the campaign is
finished.
This is done because shipping
is rarely one size fits all, thus we want to be fair with all our backers and
to give you more choices of delivery service options.
Depending on where in the
world you are, an additional payment per base pledge and per Add-On set is
required, but this may increase or decrease based on the quantity of stretch
goals we might unlock and your delivery service choices.
Also, while we will make every
possible effort to smooth your delivery through Customs, all backers are
responsible for any import fees that may apply. We truly appreciate the
interest of backers from all over the world, and we deeply apologize that we
aren’t able to make any exceptions to these charges.
Additional information
We expect to deliver your
Indegogo product by November 2016, but we will be working toward an earlier
date.
The final product will be
available in the English language.
