Our company has invested heavily in our own testing laboratory where a team of specialists put bikes and components through exacting tests. New generation High Power 3.7V 50Ah Lithium Iron Phosphate (LiFePo4) cell.
Lithium Iron Phosphate (LiFePO4)
Phosphate based technology possesses superior thermal and chemical stability which provides better safety characteristics than those of Lithium-ion technology made with other cathode materials. Lithium phosphate cells are incombustible in the event of mishandling during charge or discharge, they are more stable under overcharge or short circuit conditions and they can withstand high temperatures without decomposing. When abuse does occur, the phosphate based cathode material will not burn and is not prone to thermal runaway. Phosphate chemistry also offers a longer cycle life. A LiFePO4 battery is expected to last twice as many life cycles as a Lithium-ion battery. Charging time is twice as less if compared to Li-Ion batteries.
Intelligent BMS
ECR is powered by advanced 72 volts LiFePo4 battery pack equipped with intelligent wireless Denzel BMS. One important feature of the battery management system is to provide the user with the overall health of the battery. Denzel BMS monitors the internal resistance of each cell and tracks the capacity of the weakest cell. It uses this information to calculate a cell health percentage value from 0 to 100%. Denzel BMS then compares the calculated cell health information against preprogrammed thresholds and if any cells (or the entire pack) fall short of the threshold, a trouble code is set and freeze frame data is stored for later analysis.

Cells are protected from over-voltage, under-voltage, over-current, over-temperature, and under-temperature based on the programmed minimum and maximum values in the battery profile.
Intelligent, efficient cell by cell balancing is provided to maximize the usable range of the battery. Denzel BMS also monitors the health of both individual cells and the total pack and will trigger error trouble codes if either the pack or individual cells are in poor health.

Dubbed the “Electric Café Racer V1,” this idea is a re-modeling of a Honda Café Racer 125cc, transforming it from its traditional engine oil system to a more sustainable electric battery system. Designed from scratch the frame, seat, rims, hubs, lights and front and rear suspension.

We have given ECR our own, laboratory-developed, proven, hi-torque DENZEL 7.5Kw – direct mid-drive motor. This incredibly efficient system channels the power directly from the motor to the rear wheel via a strong , constant tension chain. Not only does direct drive minimize friction loss by eliminating clutches and gears, but it also helps eliminate the need for routine power-train maintenance whilst reducing the weight of the motorcycle. In cooperation with KELLY we have developed DNZ KLS7218SW controller incorporating our custom firmware that improves cruise control and analogue brake features.

Our starting point when developing a new model is always to produce the very best product for passionate (and demanding) riders. We dedicate a lot of attention to the finish, and carefully select an optimum set of components. If that isn’t possible with existing components, we develop our own. All our bikes are hand-built and meticulously checked before shipping to our backers. Full "tank" every day. No expensive charge station required. A simple 220/110 V household outlet satisfies all the needs of the ECR's 2200W on-board charger. Every outlet is now a “fueling” station.
When slowing down or stopping, you can use the Regenerative Braking System which converts kinetic energy into electrical energy – feeding it back into the battery pack, enhancing both the range and the ride time.
Denzel ECR is also equipped with an analogue brake that helps to extend the brake pad’s life-span on long downhill runs.

As motorcycle enthusiasts, we wanted the best and simply could not accept to hear the words it's not possible. Many people have told us we couldn’t make a powerful electric motorcycle for under $5000. So – there you have it: we’re bringing our challenge to YOU for even less. They all said that the power will be too weak, the battery life would be too short and in the end it will look also ugly. All that negativity simply motivated us to prove to all the ‘Doubters’ that it CAN be done, that we can build a stylish electric motorcycle at an incredible price. We began to brainstorm on how to achieve this. We needed ECR to be lightweight, modular, strong, streamlined and – most importantly – affordable.…And we finally found a way!
We've built a number of prototypes that all turned out to be too expensive, so we started pondering how to reduce the cost of manufacturing without sacrificing the quality. The most effective way we found to be able to do this was to resource all the parts in bulk.

We equipped ECR V1 and ACE21 with proven BLDC DNZ D7500 which is one of the best motors on the market. While ECR was in development we started secretely developing of asynchronous motor without permanent magnets. We have succesfully built and tested motor prototypes on our motorcycles, and results were awesome. If our goal $200K will be unlocked we will supply all the ECR V1 and ACE 21 with all new DENZEL DA-90.

Q:Will the production bikes be exactly like the one pictured?
A:We have a few tweaks to make and reserve the right to make modifications in the interest of making your ECR V1 even better if we rise more funds. Since the photos were taken, we've already added a USB charging port, changed wheels, and plan to make a couple other upgrades before your bike is ready!
Q:The price is very low for the motorbike. Why is that?
A: Our dream is to make electric transportation accessible to everyone. We have worked long and hard to create the ECR that is not only affordable, but also made of quality components; a quality motorcycle that is made to last you through the years. Q: How can you ensure such a low price?
A: We have extensive experience in sourcing and manufacturing products and components. This is a key factor that enables us to maintain a low units cost based on volume. With increased sales and production volume, we are confident that we can ensure a low price, even after the campaign has ended.

A:ECR will be produced by our team at our assembly plant in the high-tech city of Weihai, China. Weihai is also known as the cleanest region in China. For the past 3 years we've invested heavily in our own factory, molds, laboratory etc., to ensure we've built durable and quality bikes.

Q: What kind of warranty do you offer?
A: All ECRs and batteries come with a 1 year manufacturer's warranty. As many elements of a bike may get damaged due to normal riding use, we do not offer warranty on parts such as tires, disc brakes, chain etc.
Q: Do I need a license to ride the ECR V1?
A: Yes, you need a license to ride the ECR. In June-July 2018 ECR will be street in the USA and Australia, and we will do our best to get ECR homologated in EU by August 2018. Without registration ECR is not street legal. Most part of the raised funds will be used for certification.
Q: Who is responsible for any additional taxes, duties or VAT/GST?
A: The backer is responsible, please check your country's import duties/VAT/GST before purchasing. It is varies internationally.
