I will be going to Singapore with at least 10 of my students in the Certified E-Commerce Specialist, Entrepreneur, and Professional Program module 8 this September 9 to 13, 2015. We will be using the trip as an opportunity to:
- Meet strategic e-commerce players in the region.
- Learn about e-commerce start-up entrepreneur funding opportunities.
- Expanding or opening a business presence in Singapore.
By this time, they have done a lot of work and investment in building
their respective e-commerce projects that they will be showcasing in
the E-Commerce Entrepreneurs Summit 2015.
I believe that this trip
to Singapore will further expand their horizon and perspective.
Realizing that their opportunities are not only limited to the
Philippines but can even go outside of it.
What is your training program about?
The Certified E-Commerce Specialist, Entrepreneur, and Professional Program aims to assist students in having a well-rounded knowledge in putting up an e-commerce business.
This is our 1st batch of students. This is part of my vision in the DigitalFilipino Start-Up 100 Project in helping e-commerce entrepreneurs in their endeavors.
In conjunction with my free DigitalFilipino E-Commerce Boot Camp learning resources, I aim to reach out to 1 million Filipinos in building their e-commerce knowledge and become active players in this space.
What will you do with the money raised?
Our students will pay for their respective airfare.
We promise to only use the funds raised for the expenses while in Singapore such as accommodation, transportation (moving from one meeting to another), meals, working space, and tokens to be given to the people we will meet.
Why aren't you making your students pay for the living expenses while in Singapore?
Our students are young professionals with limited resources. This is currently spent also on building their respective e-commerce projects.
The fundraising aims to partly or fully cover our Singapore expenses so that our students can focus their own resource on finishing their projects.
