OK..SO WHAT IS THE ACTUAL HOW ABOUT?

Set in upstate New York in a small military town which experiences a communications blackout and orders to immediately fire a nuclear missile on Washington DC... We watch the story unfold as what appears to be an attack of Alien nature grips the small town (and perhaps the world).  

Each episode runs at the same time but a different location, giving the audience a greater perspective of what's happening (with the random cut to the White House and spoiling the War of the Worlds style experience).  

WILL IT AIR ON TV?

Well yes... we certainly hope... and you'll be relieved to know that we have more than hope on our side here. We recently produced and delivered TV show AGE OF THE LIVING DEAD, currently airing on FOX.  Not similar in genre, but very similar in production style - and we're pleased to say that this show is getting a season 2! As you can see, it's not the first time we've done this kind of thing, so we know the pitfalls to avoid when trying to get these type of things to air.

THIS DOESN'T SOUND LIKE ENOUGH MONEY TO SHOOT EPISODE 2?

Well in short, it's not... but it helps us gather budget and support from fellow filmmakers and we combine this with support we already have to try and push for greater production value and more prep time (which in logistical nightmare like this one is really needed!). So aswell as backing the campaign it would be really helpful if you would;

HOW DID THE PILOT SHOOT GO

OK, SO I CAN BE IN THE SHOW? IS THAT RIGHT??

Yes, it is! We have a very special, but limited reward, whereby you can actually get yourself in the show but you musty be available to attend shooting in May 2019 in the GTA area. More details available upon selecting the reward and us assigning you a suitable speaking role in the appropriate episode. This will involve a discussion with the director and producers with you on the phone/skype upon selecting the reward.

WHY CROWD FUNDING?

We have planned this show for years. The success of the execution of our pilot episode means we'd like to push forward to do the whole series now. We came here for 3 reasons:

1. Vision - we had a vision, we've been true to it thus far, and we wish to maintain that vision as a driving force. To do that, we need to remain independent - crowd funding  allows us to do this.

2.  Human drama often drives the success of television programming, and we've got plenty of it here, but we want the individual human drama and the big-picture drama of the future of humanity hanging in the balance, to work together truthfully. Undoubtedly the show is dark, but it's far from depressing. Essentially, this is the story of the extremes of human nature when the lives of those we love are at stake.

3. Collaboration - we welcome input and recognize that we are dealing with a subject people are fascinated with, so why not allow others to be part of it?

Risks and challenges

Every project has a certain amount of risk, no matter what. Film and television (normally) has a lot of risk. But there are two very mitigating factors here:

First, we've already shot the Pilot and established the team for the whole series.

Second, it's not our first rodeo. We have a long list of credits on commercial features, TV shows, and the like. We understand contingency.

Yes, we are in discussions about where it would air and when, but we are bound by non-disclosure on this and can say no more. But it will air.

Whereas many projects involve concept and ventures much earlier in the production cycle, this one has passed the point where there is question. The risks and challenges we may face - and there is always the unexpected - will be overcome. The project, being at such a late stage in the production life cycle, has very minimal risk and none to backers.
