One of the proper flossing techniques recommended by the dentist is to curve the floss around the teeth. This technique is known as the "C" shape technique. Easy Flosser is the only device that easily allows you to adjust the tension of the floss; start by reducing the amount of tension of the floss as shown in the video, then slide it gently to the base of the tooth then move the Easy Flosser up and down between the walls of adjacent teeth, scraping off the plaque. If the floss gets stuck between the teeth, slide the floss in a back and forth motion and bring the floss up, if floss remains stuck, unlock the floss by releasing the lock button, then pull the Easy Flosser slowly out of your mouth.

Remember: 

• Never force the floss or you can hurt the gums.
• There is no reason to have the floss too tight for effective plaque removal, so we recommend to loosening the floss tension to avoid injuries to the gum, it also allows the floss to cover more tooth surface.
•  Do not loosen the floss too much, or it will be difficult to maneuver between teeth.
