Echoes of the Passed: The horror revolution has begun!
We may have hit our goal, we even went and hit our first stretch goal, and due to all your amazing support we're now officially an Indiegogo InDemand film. So the question is, how far can we push this beast?
We want to bring you, our amazing fans, the absolute best paranormal horror film imaginable. All extra backing will help us push above and beyond our promise to deliver something truly awful (in the good sense)! Horror Hounds join the revolution. Together we can do this
What's the short film about?
Enter the dark and decrepit mansion that houses a sinister secret yet to be exposed by the investigation conducted by Professor Ian Noughton, his no-shit-taking assistant Liz along with paranormal tweedle dee & tweedle dum Fred and Frank. As they prepare to unearth the mysteries behind the madness, they're confronted by horror sooner than they had expected.
Meet the Makers
Echoes of the Passed is an independent horror film created for horror fans by horror fans. We're aiming to surpass the clichéd genre tropes of overused jump scare tactics to bring you something that will truly chill you to the core.
Behind this dark delve is the makers of Silently Within Your Shadow, including director & producer Scott Lyus, as well as Sharad Patel returning as DOP and Ed Harris returning to provide us with another incredible score. With an amazing screenplay from Tony Sands, which is dying to be made, Echoes of the Passed has already been featured by genre giants Dread Central and Scream Horror Magazine, becoming one of the most anticipated horror films of the year.
Our passion for independent filmmaking pushes us everyday to challenge the mainstream in order to bring our audience something they truly want to be a part of.
What faces will we see?
Professor Ian Naughton - Paul Dewdney
![]()
Best known for his role in thriller killer film, The Professional, Paul Dewdney has an expansive experience working within the acting industry. His outstanding performances are the reason we knew he was the only man for the role.
Liz - Sophie Tergeist
![]()
You'll recognise the up & coming indie actress from Silently Within Your Shadow where she starred alongside Bill Moseley (The Devils Rejects). Sophie's drive to bring realism into every role she portrays is the reason we knew there was no better to play the hard hitting assistant character.
Fred - Mac McFadden
![]()
Mac is best known as a talented and popular comedian, often using comic poetry to relate his thoughts on everything from life in the army to train toilets. Last summer he showcased his dramatic talent, with starring roles in two films, including the part of Glenn in the Tony Sands scripted 'The Bench'.
Frank - Tony Sands

A trained actor, Tony has a CV including BBC's classic children's series 'Moondial' as well as roles in films such as 'The Krays' and 'Let Him Have It'. His writing includes 'The Bench' and he hosts horror based chat show 'Hanging With' for UK Horror Scene.
