Hello fellow nature lovers.
We are the grade 7-8 class at the Edge Hill Country School.

Exploring the natural world and understanding our place on the earth is an important part of our school program. To supplement and strengthen our classroom work, we spend many hours hiking, skiing, camping, playing and, most importantly, opening our senses to everything that surrounds us.

YEAR END ADVENTURE
Our class would like to continue developing this spirit of adventure and observation by concluding the year (for some, graduation from Edge Hill) with a three day camping excursion into the wilds of the Bruce Peninsula.
We hope this modest fund raising campaign will help us make it happen. The money we raise will help pay for a professional guide, food for the trip, fuel to travel and camp site fees.
Our guide is Alexis Burnett owner/operator of Earth Tracks. He has over 15 years experience leading wilderness excursions.
Alexis will trek us through Bruce Peninsula National Park encouraging us to further develop our skills of quiet, open observation.

The Bruce Peninsula is a UNESCO World Biosphere Reserve. In keeping with the spirit of this protected land, we will demonstrate that humans can live harmoniously with nature.
Here are a few sample pictures of what we expect to see.
