The goal is to develop and produce the edutainment Mingoville Watch that complements the Mingoville Fun Clock App. This completes the natural process of learning how to tell time and getting a child's first watch. With both a digital and a physical component, this learning package makes it easier than ever for children to learn to tell time.  However, to start our pipeline and set up production, we need your help to crowd-fund 10.000 dollars.

 

Why do we need an #EduWatch?

Having a watch is not just an accessory, it is a culture: with their first watch, children learn to appreciate and measure their time, schedule and plan and most importantly be punctual. These all are qualities that come in-line with knowing how to value time: an asset that in the fast-speed 21st century will be more and more important.

You will invest in a unique educational Indiegogo project that combines digital learning with real practice. This project will launch a new way of learning how to tell time with an app and training the acquired skills every day with the new #EduWatch! 

As visual memory is very important for children, the Mingoville #EduWatch is specially designed to look like the clock in the Mingoville App, so children can make the connection between what they have seen in the app and the physical watch on their wrist. This also completes the natural process of learning how to tell the time with the Mingoville App and practicing the newly acquired skills with the #EduWatch.

The designs and prototypes are ready. Now we just need to produce it!

The Mingoville Watch Design

The Mingoville Watch is especially designed for children. The wristband has the fun cartoon flamingos from the Mingoville world. It is ready to handle the daily challenges of the playground: it is shock-resistant, robust and waterproof (3ATM). The watch is also especially tested for Nickel allergies. The mechanics are a high class Citizen/Mioyta 2035 that are created to last. The watch has a fast wrap strap, so even the youngest kids can easily put it on. All watches come in a beautiful case with two Nylon Straps, which is perfect for a present.
