Hi! Welcome to the Indiegogo page for ELASTIC HEART.

My name is Marcus A. Stricklin, and this is my first feature film. Please don't take that as "this is my first film," it' just my first feature film. I've had short films in several film festivals around the world, and was given the opportunity to turn an idea I had into a feature film. 

This campaign is important to me, because we've had a lot of hard working cast and crew members on set,  doing the work to make these pages come to life. We spent 11 days shooting the movie.  By contributing your extremely hard earned dollars, you'll help this movie go from a bunch of stand alone clips, to a full length movie.

Post production is one of the costliest aspects of making a movie. We had the good fortune of finding not only a terrific cast, but a very hard working and dedicated crew. The good news is, we've filmed it already. The trailer below, is a culmination of hard work from everyone involved. 

So, here's how you can help:

By donating as little as $1, you can help with the following:

1. Editing - This is the biggest aspect of a movie. Taking thousands of little clips, and editing them in a way where it turns into a movie.

2. Music and Score - This helps so the viewer is not just listening to dead space. Like a creepy horror film. 

3. Sound Mixing - All of the editing and music is mixed together to sound super cinematic. 

4. Color Correction - This is so the movie doesn't look terrible, and flat, and insanely boring.

5. Film Festivals - Whatever is left, will help with Film Festival fees. We are going to throw this movie at every single film festival we can get our hands on.

$550: The original storyboard book. There are wacky designs in it, with notes written by the Director (1 total) and signed by the entire cast! plus a Signed DVD and Poster

$750: A TEA PARTY WITH THE ENTIRE CAST! Yes, there will be Jack Daniels as well (if you're over 21 and all). There are (3) total for this perk. plus a Signed DVD and Poster. Also, please note: We are all located in Phoenix, AZ. So if you live else where, you will have to travel here for the perk. 

$1,000: The rock and roll poster, signed by every cast and crew member, plus a Signed DVD and Poster (1 total).

$2,500 - Producer, well you get your name right on up there with the rest of them. plus a Signed DVD and Poster. (Plus you're invited to the premiere)! (also note, that travel is at your own expense to Phoenix, AZ).

$5,000 or more - Executive Producer level, you get your name above the rest (2 available), plus a Signed DVD and Poster (Plus you're invited to the premiere)! (also note, that travel is at your own expense to Phoenix, AZ).

I'm not going to lie, the film business is a big risk, with little reward. But there are so many people that are dedicated and have already put time into it, that they would like to see the final product! I have personally been involved in the project since I completed the script in February, and I'll be here every step of the way to thank you, send out updates, and your perks, when the time is right!
