Embracing The Future: A BNHA Fanmade Tarot Deck
Hello! The BNHA Tarot Mod Team are very excited to finally bring forth this wonderful tarot deck created by our extremely wonderful and patient contributors.
This project went through a lot of rough spots, and it's definitely been quite a ride, going through quite the game of hot potato before finally ending up with the current mod team. It was a lot of hard work and now nearly a year later, we finally have preorders open, so thank you for everyone's support and we hope you enjoy the beautiful tarot deck and wonderful merch pieces these amazing artists have lovingly made.
Our Goal
The BNHA Tarot Project has 60+ contributors, 78 cards and over 20 merch pieces. As such to be able to print everything and fairly compensate all the artists and mods behind this project our goal is $10,000!
Goal Break Down
Now 10k sounds like a lot, and it definitely is, so here's why. We want to be able to compensate our contributors fairly with a full bundle so our calculation of the goal was made with that in mind! Taking that into account it would cost a total of $5,000 to be able to do this.
- $3,500 | Participant Compensation: This is the amount of money necessary to be able to give all contributors a free bundle as thanks for their amazing work!
- $1,500 | Participant Shipping: Shipping can be pricey especially when it comes to heavier packages.
Now the other 5k goes into a contributor printing. How does that work? I basically calculated how much we would need to sell in order to be able to compensate our contributors.
- $2,000 | Deck Printing: Due to M.O.Q's deck printing is at a solid price.
- $1000-$2000 | Merch Printing: Because it's very difficult to determine the total amount of merch that will be necessary this particular expense is not set in stone and will fluctuate depending on what bundles the customers prefer.
- $1000 | Shipping expenses: We also have to take into account shipping expenses for our customers and because it depends on the number of purchases, this particular cost isn't set in stone but can fluctuate.
Risks & Challenges
Every project comes with its own risks and challenges. In the BNHA Tarot project, poses the risk of not being fully funded like most projects always pose. Additionally, while we will be doing our best to be as quick and efficient as possible, there always exists the risk of shipping delays due to any issues that may arise with the manufacturers, but rest assured we will keep everyone updated in everything!
