What This Is.....

Created by Daesha Lynn and Natalie Chmiel, Endless Grunge is a fictional re-telling of the emergence of grunge music. Set in Van Nuys California, in the year 1990, we document how this new sound changes the lives and hearts of all who listen.....in a HILARIOUS way! Imagine Kurt Cobain surfacing in the Valley, and meeting Claire Danes from My So Called Life. With back-drops like records stores and coffee shops, we follow three adults who can't evolve past their own teenage angst.

What We Need & What You Get

The $5,000 goal is set to cover the cost of filming ALL (6 episodes) of season one. We've budgeted based on cost of locations, insurance, catering, and post-production.  All of the money raised will go straight into production.  We are not making any money off of this project. All cast and crew are working pro-bono, for the mutual love of grunge and comedy.

For your generous donation, we will be offering all sorts of perks! Please see the breakdown of appreciation to the right.

If we don't raise the full $5,000, we'll find ways to cut corners and still make the show happen!  For example, changing the record store location to a garage.  However, the more we raise, the more authentic we can be and the more nostalgia we can create.

Meet The Cast

Daesha Lynn (Claire) is a Canadian actress and writer. She received her training at the Stella Adler theatre in Los Angeles, and has worked on both stage and film. She is particularily adept at the Running Man and has a brag-worthy collection of snap-bracelets. She is also (over) qualified in the realm of nostalgia. She is co-founder of Meet Linda Productions, alongside Natalie Chmiel.

Ryan Shogren (Warren Dean) in an actor and musician living in L.A.  He honed his skills in the 90's at various house parties and clubs in Nashville, with the 3-piece rock outfit, Schtucket. He's excited to bring some of his passion for the music and the era to this project. He also enjoys flannel.

Natalie Chmiel (Jessie) is a writer/actress from Minneapolis. She has studied at The University of Minnesota, Playhouse West, and the Groundlings. She's realized that this town is tough, and that writing and filming your own material is far more fun than sitting in an audition room.  She is co-founder of Meet Linda Productions, alongside Daesha Lynn.  She was regretfully the queen of angst in the 90's. Ask her family.
