For over a decade, Shannon has produced award-winning feature films & TV series for Discovery Channel & NatGeo. Before that, she practiced international law & was part of the legal team that prosecuted Enron. She went to film school at NYU and has a law degree from Vanderbilt.

For the past decade, Pato's produced award-winning independent films & TV series for Discovery Channel & NatGeo. He's currently directing the feature film Prudy & Albert, where he filmed for weeks in India among 100 million spiritual pilgrims. He produced & appears in the travel adventure series Sea Nation, which currently airs in over 60 countries. He's also Shannon's husband & understands firsthand the experience of being a partner to someone with endo.
