We are independent film makers creating our second feature film. Our previous film, Bent Over Neal, was a comedy/drama. Now we want to bring audiences something completely different from our past endeavors. A horror film set in Nebraska around the fictional township of Endor. Our writer/co-director, Faustus McGreeves has been in the professional performance business for over 15 years winning awards for writing and acting. He has also directed a short film, Garage Sale, which will be released in 2016. Editor/co-director, Aaron Gum previously directed the feature length Bent Over Neal and has directed/produced nearly 100 music videos for artists as diverse as Orenda Fink, The Faint, Big Mike of Ghetto Boys and Bizzare of D12. He has also co-created tour visuals for Bright Eyes world wide Digital Ash/Digital Urn tour with fellow InDreama (Team Love) bandmate Nik Fackler.
We have a cast of over 30 actors to put a face to the characters. There are a lot of practical effects involved and we are working alongside Wetworks SFX Studios to bring the best scares we can. There are stunts that will be breathtaking including a fall from an 80 foot silo performed by stunt men from Team Vaulttek. Our music is all original with a score from former Eagle Seagull frontman Eli Mardock and an original track from top 100 country charts musician, Jeremy Starkel. Plus a brand new cover song from Saddle Creek Records' own Orenda Fink. Accomplished colorist, Jaime O'Bradovich, who has worked on many projects including Saturday Night Live, The Place Beyond the Pines, and the Longest Week, is on board to give the visual palette to the footage. We film in over 20 locations in and around Omaha, Springfield, and Fremont, Nebraska as well as Council Bluffs, IA to give the film authenticity.
What we are asking for as our bottom line is just our first goal. To make the film with all of the effects we need as written, we need $7,000. This will pay for the materials needed to make it happen. Our second goal is $12,000 to get all of the props we need as well as back up if need to re shoot an effect. Our third goal of $25,000 will cover all production costs as well as some promotional funds. Our final goal of $50,000 will allow everyone working on the project to move up from volunteer to paid artists. With as much work everyone is contributing without ego or financial expectations, it would be nice to reward them.
The film is going to get made even if we don't raise any money. How good it will be is up to you! We have artists excellent in their craft wanting to make a unique, scary, and fun horror film. Help us create for you!
