Hello!

With your support, ESCAPE, a new play directed by Lynnsey Oooten and written by Deya Danielle Drake will make its world premiere October 2018 at the New York International Fringe Festival; the largest multi-arts festival in North America, celebrating indie theater, music and dance, with a twenty-one year history of introducing NYC audiences to bold new work and fresh voices.  

ESCAPE is a full length, five character (3W, 2M) play, with video.  It paints a timely picture of the temptation to pursue power, by any means necessary, and the human need to solidify our own relevance in a world that is changing quicker than we are. 

We believe that theater is an essential form of artistic expression.  One with the ability to capture and showcase, through live story, the often intangible zeitgeist of different eras.  It gives life to feelings and emotions, many universal, but difficult to articulate.  Experienced through the lens of performance, these feelings can be unifying and ignite discussion.
