AERO-SERVICE was founded in 2005. It specializes in the design, construction and repair of ultra-light airplanes. Since 2014, we decided to extend our offer and commence with the production of a small four-wheeled electric vehicle, which is the EV4 City Quad. All the knowledge and experience gained from avionics was carried over to the design and construction of the EV4. In the summer of 2016 we released a new vehicle, the EV4 Bike. Until today we have sold 11 bikes. Our product was featured on different portals and on “Freeze List” YouTube channel – “7 INSANE VEHICLES You Didn't know Existed” which has over 1’000’000 views.
VISION
We strongly believe that electricity and compact size is the future of personal transportation. Imagine no traffic jams, no noise and clean air to breathe even living next to a busy, crowded street. This is not just our vision of the future and with the help of our backers we want to contribute in changing the world.
THE DESIGN
EV4 Bike is an innovative tricycle bike with electric support motor and the ability to tilt in corners. Our goal was to design a bike with a unique appearance, high quality and the ability to safely move around the city without breaking any street regulations. EV4 Bike is classified as an electric bike in the EU and the USA and can be used on roads, bike paths and in some countries on the sidewalk.
The two wheels at the front are both equipped with hydraulic disc brakes. Traction from the doubled footprint increases stability and stopping power. The risk of falling due to a front wheel lock is mitigated by the fact that under such circumstances the whole vehicle moves sideways until it regains traction, where as a normal bike will slip away from under the rider.

OPTIONS
There is a series of options and accessories to choose from. However, because of some shipping restrictions the internal battery pack is not available for shipping outside of Europe. Every version of the bike comes with a charger but we're making it also available for purchase as an additional unit. Most of the bike accessories are form Bernardi - Italy - and come in a variety colours to choose from. The external battery pack has the same parameters as the internal one, we may however decide to choose another supplier so the picture may not resemble final product. Also, please keep in mind that the charger on the picture resembles the one that is used for the internal battery pack. The charger for the external battery pack with look slightly different.

RISKS AND CHALLENGES
The only risk involved in this campaign is that with a very large number of backers we will not be able to produce all of the bikes in time. We did however do our best to estimate the time and resources needed to produce a large amount of bikes and considered all eventualities that might increase production time. I’m sure we came up with a pretty accurate timeline.

Can I get the bike at this price elsewhere?
No, the discount is only available through the Indiegogo campaign.
Who is responsible for taxes?
In countries within the European Union VAT is included. For countries outside of European Union you are responsible for taxes, duties and VAT. Please check with your local customs office (HS code 8711.90.00).
Is assembly required?
EV4 is delivered assembled and ready to run in the European Union. In countries outside of Europe due to transport cost minimal assembly maybe required.
Why can't I order panniers with the external battery pack?
The panniers mounting system would have to be placed under the battery pack rendering them unremovable.
How long does it take to fully charge the battery?
It takes about 4 hours.
How is EV4 packaged?
In a crate made of plywood - 161 x 66 x 120 cm - 85 kg.
Why is the shipping so expensive?
The vehicles are shipped fully assembled in crates, not packages.
What about maintenance?
Most of the bike components are standard and available on the market. You can do your own maintenance - it's simple. Any bike service will manage.
