Everything Will Be Fine In The End is like
Three aimless Gen Zs botch a break-in and suffer the consequences.
Struggling 20-something grifters face their bleak outlook of the future against the backdrop of a world on fire. Rudderless, their choices erode as fast as the shoreline. After stealing a dog and a home robbery that leaves the owner dead, they are followed by her ghost who pushes them to make a life-changing decision.
Small Factory Films has video editing, audio post, and composing covered. We saved a few thousand for the production of this feature. But we still need to rent cameras, lights, locations, permits, and pay cast and crew.

Joe Bartone's personal, rare Dave Smith Instruments Prophet 12 Synthesizer
The one used on Brides of Jesus soundtracks and countless film scores. This is the first new polyphonic synth I ever bought. So many songs were written on this. I will miss it, but I need to make this film. This one hurts.
This is a 12-voice DCO Analog synth from 2017, made at the Prophet factory in San Fransisco. Despite a few scratches, it is a fully functional monster synth in fantastic shape. The Dave Smith Instruments Prophet 12 is a monstrously powerful hybrid analog and digital 12-voice polyphonic synthesizer. Offering new digital waveform shapes, analog Curtis filters and distortion, a digital Character effects section, and delay and feedback effects, the Prophet 12 also features a 5-octave velocity and aftertouch-sensitive keyboard, pitch and modulation wheels, and two touch and pressure-sensitive sliders. The Impact - what is Everything Will Be Fine In The End
The film is an existential, dark comedy character piece with a great ghost story. All told through the eyes of a sweet labradoodle caught up in the conflicts of selfish people.
SPOILER ALERT - THE WHOLE STORY WITHOUT THE COOL CONVERSATIONS:
What is Everything Will Be Fine In The End about? George (Female 20s punk) has stolen a dog. She isn't even sure why. She likes the dog and took it. She is dating? this creepy guy is more than twice her age and one night the sex gets out of hand and he pushes her too far, so she hits him. He retaliates by stealing her dog - which of course is not hers anyway. She gets a day gig cleaning Julia's (this odd OCD lady) house. When she gets there, everything is wrapped in plastic. Once the lady leaves for yoga, she burglars the place. She corrals her friends Cheska and Kai, to steal more stuff from Julia but alas, Julia comes home and finds them in the house. They struggle and Julia is dead. Wrapped in plastic. Things seem fine for a minute, but soon Julia is popping up everywhere as some plastic-covered ghost, haunting them into an existential self-reflection. Chess decides to get her friends Mank and Buzz, George's now ex-bF, to help her go back to Julia's place and hide the body. But Mank has plans to do a standup routine on Hollywood and Vine as a transgender Luce Libre, so it's just her and Buzz, who has other motives for Cheska. Well, Tom, the real dog owner, has been looking all over town for his dog, and finally finds him with Mank. But as fate would have it, he is run over by accident when Buzz speeds up the road after leaving Cheska for dead at Julia's. Throughout all this, we are guided by Merlin, an urban shaman, who quotes the great poets to whoever is listening, and the ghost of Julia gets her revenge. The Hollywood ending has Merlin returning the dog to the widow of Tom.
