The Project
Existing is a short film written by Aly Dixon. It is truly a story for everyone. It takes place in Austin, Texas, showcasing the cooky, weird and beautiful aspects of our amazing city. It also exhibits a cast of hilarious characters all tied together through choice or happenstance.
This script has been in the works for almost a year now and it's really exciting to see it come to life. Part of what makes this project so special is the female-led production team. WE DON'T NEED NO MAN Y'ALL, except for, you know, the talented male members of the cast that are going to bring this baby to life.
Help Us Get It Made!
-
Equipment Rentals! In order to make our film look as great as possible we need the right tools! Your donation will help us with camera, sound and lighting equipment to bring our vision to life!
-
Food and Water! Crazy thing about making a movie is people expect to be fed and watered! But seriously, our cast and crew have volunteered their time and we'd like to keep them healthy and happy on set!
-
Wardrobe and Props! We want the style and set of our movie to uniquely portray Austin life.
-
Marketing and Festival Fees! Whoa we'd sure love for people to see this movie, help us make that possible!
-
Potential Risks/Challenges! Working with animals can often be difficult and although Zeke the dog is a obviously a classically trained actor (he's not), he needs a lot of water and treats and loving to feel appreciated. Along with this, Aly Dixon is finally saying goodbye to Austin and headed out West so we have a pretty tight time constraint to get this film made. These challenges will be gratefully overcome with your generous support!
