Short Summary
Hi guys my name is Nicola and I am the Director/Writer of the film Fable. For our final year project, we decided to create a short film. Myself and a team of graphic design, music tech and media production students have come together to create a final year film based around the theme of Irish Fairytales. For the past couple of months we have been researching and creating a well written script that presents the classic irish tales with a modern twist. We have planned and set up places to film in Ireland such as Giants causeway, old Mills and many more spectacular back drops. This is the dream come true as it's such a beautiful place and would be amazing to have the film set here.
The story follows a young girl who finds a book of what she believes to be old stories but starts to see them happening before her eyes, are they true or just old fables?
Together as a production team we plan to document the journey as a whole, bringing you interesting fun videos as well as a stunning film. All we need to do so is your support! By support we mean donations or sharing the page.
What We Need & What You Get
For this film, the idea is to go over to Ireland and film, to gain a level of authenticity and bring the beauty of Ireland to light with a traditional feel. So to make this happen we need your help and donations and by doing so you will receive a little thank you present that goes up in value the more you donate.

As you can see any extra money will go towards paying actors and actresses for all their hard work on this project!
As you are probably wondering, what happens if there is money left over? Well all money that is left goes on to creating special gifts for people who have donated and also as a back up for travel or any other required spending. So as you can see all the money you donate goes to use.
Speaking of perks ad gifts, I will be providing a wide range of items from simple thank you letters to calendars, posters, unique photographic prints and even a chance to be in the credits or take home a prop. Each item you receive will come with its very own thank you letter and surprise something just to let you know again how thank full we at the production of 'Fable' are for your help.
However the important thing is that I raise enough money as I possibly can to produce this film, not only for my degree but also because its something I love and am passionate about and I know the rest of my crew are too. This means everything or anything you donate makes a big impact in how the film is created. The film not only opens the door for a media student but also other art students (graphic designers, music technology, fine art, automotive design) who have taken part in the pre production stage and look forward to making the rest and using that as their experience for future work to be made.
