The Story

What would you do? This is one of the many questions the story asks the audience of ‘Fallen Angels’.

On their walk home from a night out celebrating Halloween, four boys notice a girl they don’t like venture down an alley towards her home. In the spirit of Halloween & a bloodstream full of alcohol they begin to follow her with plans to terrify her for what they believe to be a ‘brilliant practical joke’.

The joke gets out of hand as she reacts violently, out of reflex & self-defence one of the boys pushes her away, causing her to trip and break her neck on an old brick that stuck out of the muddied ground.

They begin to contemplate what to do, shocked, horrified & confused by what they had just done. They decide to bury her.

The story continues to follow their lives as they try to move on & live life normally, it is only a matter of time before they slowly, one by one begin to crack.

Our Story

‘When I was 16 years old, I got a little camcorder for my birthday as I always dreamt of making films, I got so excited I wrote a 40 page script, with these two instruments I filmed a 40 minute film with a group of friends, trying to keep it as professional & real as possible. The response this film got was surprisingly very positive.

‘Peter Firth’, star of the BBC television series ‘SPOOKS’ & Oscar nominated for his performance in ‘Equus’ sat down & watched the film after my tutor ‘Mr Firth’s wife’ gave it to him to watch after being impressed by it herself, he said (paraphrased) ‘that was probably the first film I’ve sat through from beginning to end in years. I’m impressed’.

Now, seven years later. I am making this same film again, this time as a feature film, with a cast & crew alongside a script that has grown & matured with me.

The Impact

Without sounding too ‘preachy’, I have things to say & ideas to put across to people, I use my films as a form to do so. Depending on what audience type you are will affect what you will get out of the film.

Group A Will find themselves thinking of why we sometimes turn to religion in darker moments of our lives. How in control are we of our own lives? They will find themselves asking themselves what they would do & how they would deal with being in that situation.  They will look into themselves & think ‘I’d like to think I would do the right thing, but would I?’

Just getting people thinking about this will get them questioning what they believe to be ‘the right thing’ & will hopefully in some way make them want to be better, to create a ‘would I do that? I don’t know… oh my god would I?... No! I could never live with myself! No!’ They will walk away feeling a better person.

It will also get Group A thinking about what truly is insanity, who in the world really is ‘mentally ill’ & do we see it in ourselves.

Group B Will just find it a ‘cool’ movie about murder. Which is also fine & a fairly accurate of the film I suppose.

What We Need & What You Get

As you would have noticed by the very early 'teaser trailer', this production is at very early stages. For now we are trying to raise 5,000 to get this project on its feet, once raised we will move on to raise another 10,000 with the goal of eventually reaching our target of '22,000'.

The film has purposely been budgeted to be as low budget as possible without lacking in quality or professional footage. This film will be geared by actors looking for work, those with the talent but with no luck as of yet and the same will be for the crew, I will be hiring trained crew members looking for work. Being my first project we wanted to give everybody else around us as much of a chance to do something spectacular along with us.

If you would like to be apart of the project, whether it be behind or in front of the camera, do not hesitate to ask & show us what you've got, its always welcome.

Don't worry if the target we are aiming for is not met, we will be searching for funding elsewhere during & after the period of raising funds on the website. The money will be raised & this film will be made, this is a FACT, I can personally assure you of that.

The funding itself will be contributing mainly towards the cast & crew to pay there way while they take time from their lives to help with the project, you will be paying for the equipment we will be hiring, the sets we will use to film with. Without you, this film is nothing but words on paper, an idea in my head & a passion in my heart.
