The screenplay is done. The music is written, tested and loved by audiences who have heard it. But, bringing this musical film to the right people in the film industry --- and to make them sit up and listen to what they hear --- requires recording the screenplay and the music with all professional performers and sound production experts.
And that costs money most of us
don't have
just lying around the house!
SETTING
A medium-sized town sandwiched between a rural expanse and a larger city. From autumn to spring, the characters’ lives unfold on parallel time lines sprinkled with flashbacks that influence decisions and create current-day challenges they must face head on. As their timelines begin to merge, the characters find themselves moving toward the future, leaving the past behind.

LOVE STORY #1
What happens when a widowed retired businessman—who’s afraid of loneliness—courts a brokenhearted divorced author—who’s afraid of love?
Will they find the love of their lives?
NIKKI --- a retired English teacher, divorced, who is now a successful author stuck in a writer’s block. She’s afraid of love after a messy divorce from Sheldon, Maggie’s father. She likes Daniel but isn’t sure she wants more than friendship and so, she rebuffs his advances. When Daniel convinces her they could be more than friends, her writer’s block disappears. Now writing the novel keeps her from going out with Daniel. She acknowledges she feels his love for her. When will she realize that she’s in love with Daniel? Will she tell him?
DANIEL is a Vietnam War veteran who settled in his hometown to put the war behind him. He earned a business degree and opened a hardware store. But when his wife, Allison, died and his son, Danny, hit the skids, Daniel couldn’t cope. Two years later he sold his business to a predatory big box store and retired. Then, he meets Nikki and decides to court her. Before the war, Daniel dreamed of becoming a travel journalist. Perhaps now is as good a time as any to follow that dream. Will he leave Nikki behind or will he…?
LOVE STORY #2
What happens when a 40-something stay-at-home-mom returns to her art career and her money-driven husband takes the promotion of a life-time to move the family to England?
Will they team up or will they break up?
MAGGIE is Nikki’s daughter. As a stay-at-home-mom, Maggie home-schooled her two daughters. Now the girls are older and she wants to return to her art career. The most prominent gallery in the city offers Maggie a directorship. Her husband, Jason objects to her sudden independence and motivation to do what she wants to do. When Jason tells her about his big promotion, Maggie refuses to move the family to London. Does she go or can she finally become who she's meant to be?
JASON, Maggie’s husband, is the oldest of six and grew up on a poor 80-acre farm, worked in the fields and sold produce in the local farmer’s markets. He went to both college and law school on full scholarships. Jason severed all ties to his family to escape the poverty of his childhood. He rose in the ranks of a national law firm and has just received a big promotion to open new offices for the firm in London. Maggie’s refusal to go with him forces him for the first time to consider how his work impacts his family. Jason begins to think about changing his focus in life. But, to start over he must reconcile with his family. Will he be accepted and receive his father's forgiveness and blessing? Or will he face his father's rejection and scorn?
LOVE STORY #3
When the spirit of his late mother returns
because her 26-year-old son is floundering,
will she shake up his world?
DANNY is Allison and Daniel’s son and was once a talented golfer on the college team good enough to win a national tournament. After his mother’s death, he quits school and can’t keep a job. Danny steals money from Daniel to support his drug habit. Daniel throws him out of the house. One of Danny's druggie friends talks him into robbing a jewelry store to get money for drugs. They get caught, are arrested and go to jail. Will Danny find a path to a clean and sober life or be forever trapped in a cycle of self-defeating addiction?
ALLISON enters the story as a spirit in Danny's dream to explain to him that she’s happy in the afterlife. She pushes him to move on. She tells him she wants Daniel to pursue Nikki. She appears throughout the story to influence the characters with her clear-eyed wisdom, while her sense of humor adds comic relief throughout the film.

ABOUT LOVE to be presented to decision-makers in Hollywood and well as in the growing film industry in Nashville and in Atlanta.
