The film follows 7 final girls who each have fought and survived separate attacks from killers. They hold weekly Final Girl Anonymous (where the name FGA comes from) meetings to help each other cope with their PTSD as a result of the traumatic experiences. The final girls must fight for survival AGAIN when 5 masks killers come up with a plan to finish what their original attackers started. The women will have to choose between fight or flight in this bloody no holds barred survival slasher.
Help us make this bloody yet beautiful story of sisterhood and the power of women coming together to prove we are stronger in numbers and not afraid to kick some ass. NO ONE is safe in this film and we aren’t shying away from the blood. This is a slasher after all but a different take on the sub genre. Giving you a unique story and a bloody masterpiece. I appreciate 90’s slashers because they changed the formula from what worked in 80’s slashers. As the genre was dying the 90’s brought it back to life. So this film will definitely have some 90’s influence mixed with 80’s gore and my own personal spin on the genre! I have been working on this idea for 7 years and so happy to bring it from paper to film.
FGA will be filmed in Austin, Texas. The plan is to begin shooting mid-April til early May. Once we wrap production and this bad boy gets edited we will be submitting this to as many film festivals as we can. After the festival run is done FGA will be available on VOD.
What We Need
Although this is a low-budget indie project our goal is to make sure it doesn’t look low-budget. We also want to make sure everyone working on this film will get paid something. My husband and I started working at amazon to help fund this film. We’re putting our own money into this film to make sure it gets made.
Our goal is a $20,000 budget. We are self funding $18,000 and are asking for help to fund the remaining $2,000. Help us get this film made!
