Survivor is the first standalone story to the hit fantasy-mystery series, FIENDISH!
After his hometown of Dorvo was destroyed, Kazimir is saved by the reclusive hunter Okhto and taken in as an apprentice. However, being Okhto's student is no easy task, and Kazimir is additionally tormented by the guilt of surviving the bloodshed that killed his family. Young Kazimir must discover how to overcome his trauma and, hopefully, find purpose in life again.
Survivor features 25 story pages, drawn by Michael Rushbrook and colored by Jake Harold. It is 100% inked and only one page from colors complete at the time of launching, so we are definitely looking at a speedy turnaround!

FIENDISH was created by Irene Strychalski (me) over 6 years ago, as a culmination of my lifelong fascination with comics, mystery, dark fantasy, and ancient history. With FIENDISH, I hope to show everyone the true potential of fantasy comics!
Survivor was written by me, beautifully drawn by interior artist Michael Rushbrook, and is being colored by Jake Harold (creator of the upcoming Carnal the Barbarian). I couldn't have asked for a better team!

RISKS AND CHALLENGES
At the time of launching this campaign, FIENDISH #2.5: Survivor is already 100% inked and nearly colors complete. Thus, there is no doubt that the book will be finished!
The only challenges are possible printing and logistics issues later on. I am lowering the risk of such occurrences by returning to the tried-and-proven printer from FIENDISH #2, as well as lining up services with to Critical Blast, who fulfilled the FIENDISH #2 campaign (with over 2300 unique backers).
