Fifteen is a story about family. When a girl becomes a victim to a traumatizing event, she finds comfort from her unborn child and a stranger she meets online. When she loses both, she realizes that she had been ignorant of the greatest relationship in her life- her family.
The Inspiration
This story is based on true events, inspired to celebrate a friend’s life. Before this became a family story, the original focus for this short piece was to document the development of a personal relationship down to its abrupt end.
Eight months later, on the second version, it has been altered to a very different yet wholesome story.
Who am I?
I am a film student at the Art Institute of Portland. I am producing this short film to help me move forward in two ways: to graduate and find closure.
I will personally keep you updated: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=h5_iSvCzsgs&...
LET’S MAKE A MOVIE!
Alright, now that you know the mushy backstory, come be a part of the family! We need to raise $5500.
The funding will cover the cost of transportation and meals for the 5 days of shooting. It will also be used to cover DVD duplications, printing costs for marketing materials, postage, and potential film festival distributions.

SHARING IS CARING! The great thing about film is that it is a collaboration. We can get donations from your friend’s friend, whose uncle happens to be Bill Gates! Hey, we can dream, can’t we?
Also share with:
POTENTIAL LOCATIONS: We’re still looking for locations that could pass as a hospital room (a clinic would work) and a grocery store.
FOOD CONNECTIONS: For anyone who works in food services and could offer a donation of a "carry out" meal for 30 people, anytime from August 8th through August 12th, would be amazing!
BUSINESSES: This film will be screening at the Hollywood Theater in Portland, OR and will be distributed to be viewed by others. It would be a great opporutnity to advertise. Help us and we'll help you!
