A couple are sat in a bar...

...And get onto the subject that no one talks about 'meaningful things'; it's all surface. So they decide - as an experiment - to be "brutally honest" for just Five Minutes. Chaos ensues...

This is the premise of this comedy drama all about monogamy, desire, body insecurities, emotional scars from exes, and other greatest hits...

This is a project I've been thinking about for years and spent many screenplay drafts on getting right. I've been fascinated with how even the closest of couples can find broaching the "stickiest" of topics difficult, and how darkly funny it can all get. In watching it, my deepest hope is that audience's will relate to the same issues the characters are facing and may even open a dialogue in their own lives.

What We Need & What You Get

• Shooting has completely wrapped and was entirely funded by myself. It's even half edited! But now I've run out of money and need £600 to secure two days work with the sound designer/mixer and colour gradist to complete this project!
