Note that this is not the full first world (it's not even close!). It's just a little sample of the game for you to test it and get a better feel for the mechanic and characters!
Flatman is a 2.5D platform and puzzle game. In this game you'll be able to change into 3 different shapes: triangle, circle and square. With these forms you'll have different abilities and ways of solving puzzles and battling your enemies. It's fun to experiment and see what works best on what!

THE FORMS
![]()
As Circle Flatman you'll be very light, meaning your jumps will reach higher places and you can float on water. The circle could be considered the "middle ground" of the three shapes, as it has medium walking speed. With this one you'll be able to defeat the heavy square type enemies, but you'll have to be careful with the triangle ones, they're very sharp, ouch!

Triangle Flatman is the speedster. He can run faster than the other two, but you'll have less control over your movement, so watch your step! You'll cover great distances with this form, so take advantage of its speed. As triangle you'll have the power to beat the balloon like circle enemies, but you can be defeated with ease by the strong square type enemies, they're a though bunch!
![]()
Last but not least, is Square Flatman. This shape is the slowest and heaviest, but also the strongest and sturdiest. He can sink underwater like a rock, and his might is pretty formidable. He's able to push heavy objects and cause great harm. The Square can crush the feeble triangle types, but look out for those circle types, they can make you loose your balance!
By combining the three shapes, you can explore the whole Flat Kingdom and discover all kinds of secrets. After each level you'll acquire different upgrades for new skills! Use them wisely!
The worlds are big and full of secrets and surprises! So you'll have plenty to do and discover while you reach your goal.

Our stretch goals include to have awesome full motion videos by
Don Porfirio, a game theme composed by Manami Matsumae (you may know her from Mighty Number 9 or Megaman), multiplayer mode and ports to game consoles.

The game is still in development. We recently cooked up a demo version and displayed it live in different video game events in our city, where the participants gave us their feedback to improve our game.
Now we are finishing up the first level (The Flat Forest) and polishing a few details to begin the new areas of the game.

We have a long way ahead of us, we know, but we're on the right track and all we need is a little help from you to make this project a reality!

RISKS AND CHALLENGES
Being our first big project as a team, we are facing a lot of new challenges that we must learn to overcome. We are using our skills in animation, illustration, programming and design in this 1 year and a half project.
To be honest, the videogame industry is not really that serious (not to say non existent) in this little corner of the world (Mérida, Yucatán), so it's though to get local support and investment. This is mainly why we are here, because we want to encourage more indie video game startups in Latin America and in all parts of the world.
We love what we do and we love videogames. We are having fun developing this, so we hope you'll have fun playing it. Our motto is "develop the games we would like to play ourselves".

Yes, one of the stretch goals is a port to tablets. We're currently making arrangements for console versions (would be a dream come true!) and thinking about a mobile version (for smartphones).
Is it safe to donate?
Absolutely, Indiegogo keeps your information safe, and makes sure your money arrives without any kinds of problems or extra fees.
Is it difficult to donate?
Not at all, it's just as easy as choosing one of the rewards at the right of the screen, putting your receipt information and select the method of payment.
In what stage of development are you?
We have a beta prototype, some of the game design and animation, documentation, 3D assets and music. We are assembling the first stage and developing the rest of the game. Approximately 15% of development is complete, but we need your help to do this!

What kind of upgrades is Flatman getting?
Some of them are the good ol' flatforming classics (double jumping, stomping, pushing larger objects) but a good chunk are innovative and clever techniques that allow Flatman to do some crazy stuff! You'll love it!
How many stages are in the game?
So far, there are 6 levels in the work (each one being pretty big and full of secrets, with at least two bosses). But some of our stretch goals include an extra chapter and a whole new level!
I still have questions, can I contact you?
How can I find you in social media?
Do you have a website?
