Short Summary
We are John and Scott Johnson from Eternal Ground Films based in Charleston, SC (USA). We have been making horror films for 4-5 years now and have something really special in the works with this film. It's based on an award-winning short film we released a few years ago. There was so much story to tell that we weren't satisfied with just 10 minutes.
The film centers around two killers with very different personalities. They are in the business of skinning victims for an underground flesh market. These two, along with one of the victims, form an interesting relationship that makes the story more than just a traditional slasher movie.

What We Need & What You Get
John and I have emptied our pockets to bring this film to life. With your help, we can make this feature a reality. We are asking for $5,000 (USD) and that's not bad for a full-length film!
As mentioned before, we need to pay the cast and crew, reach a few shooting locations that are essential for the story, and make sure our blood and gore scenes look fantastic! Practical effects aren't cheap.
In return, we have some great perks for you listed out to the side, that include:
- Button sets featuring the various characters
- T-shirts with custom designed movie art or logos
- 24" x 36" movie posters hand-drawn by MonkeyMouth Art
- Actual props from the movie
- Producer credits with embroidered hat

The Impact
Your contribution will help make this production viable. This project is important to us for two reasons. One, we feel this story is helping to keep the traditional slasher genre current by adding modern editing techniques that will engage viewers. We see so few true horror movies nowadays that we want to help keep the spirit alive.
Two, this film will help a number of actors, gaffers, technicians, script supers, production assistants, and other people in the business employed with money flowing into businesses associated with the film. We're doing our part to keep the industry moving forward.

Risks & Challenges
Two things that definitely make an indie film feel like a bigger production are diversity of cast and a variety of locations. The first one we have. The second is what we need help with. We have a few scenes that are necessary to convey the proper sense of scale for this story. South Carolina, where we are located, has a lot to offer, but cannot provide every setting we need. For very little funding, we can access a few key locations that will provide high production value to this film.
