Meet the Filmmaker

Hi, I'm Samantha Coulter and this is my first short film! My love for movies started from a young age. It began with my childhood home's overflowing VHS collection, grew every time my parents took my sister and I to our favorite place: the movie theater and became everlasting when I discovered that a single viewing of a film can completely change the course of your life. After years of telling those closest to me that I was going to make my own movies one day, I'm finally working to make that dream a reality. Thanks to many months of writing and invaluable support from loved ones, I have a story that I believe deserves to be told on the screen. 

Why We Need Your Support 

While I wrote the script with the intention of making this film as inexpensive as possible, filmmaking is a costly endeavor. We're hoping to raise around 5,000 dollars to feed our cast and crew, rent camera/sound/lighting equipment, pay location fees, craft the production design and  more. 

With the help of your donation, we can also cover our post production costs such as editing, sound design, color grading, and submitting to film festivals!
