Doing seemingly impossible things
Science tells us that bumblebees should not be able to fly, but the bee doesn’t know that, so they just go ahead and fly anyway, or bumble along. This film was adapted from the Award-Winning autobiography and play by R.W. Klamm “Fly Like a Bumblebee”. It shows the struggle and conflict that a young boy who endures as he comes to the realization that he is different than other children. That life for him will be a continuous struggle between light, shadow and overwhelming darkness.
The period for the film is unique. It starts in the 1930's and ends in the 1970's. There are a lot of magical references in the film, and having that wide of a berth in periods means we can do so much with music. Bob himself will be in the film, even though he has passed away. He will be playing the harmonica, which has been remastered in the studio. We will also have a strong cast and crew.
As this story unfolds in the production of the film, I find myself wanting to talk to Bob about the excitement, but I know, somehow, someway, he magically knows what we are doing and he is smiling.

Remember when Han Solo was trapped in the carbonite? That’s what we felt like for years while we tried to get Fly Like A Bumblebee made. You know who freed Han? Princess Leia. You guys… are our… Princess Leia
We're beginning production of the movie, which means script editing, casting etc., and then it'll be up to the powers to be to decide when the movie comes out in theaters. That said, we’re accepting contributions and there are still some awesome Indiegogo perks that you can pre-order, including:
- Advance TICKETS
- DVDs of Fly Like A Bumblebee
- The official CAMPAIGN T-SHIRT
- Official signed MOVIE POSTERS
- A bunch of other cool stuff
All you have do is choose one (or more) of the perk packages still listed on the right side of the page and provide some payment details.
You’re now wondering, “why would I give you guys money to make this film?”
Good question. No… GREAT question. Here are TWO good answers:
1. This is your last chance to get a lot of these perks, all created as INDIEGOGO CAMPAIGN, which means there has never been a better offered.
2. We're about to start production of this movie, but have a way to go in the making of this movie. Everything we raise goes straight to helping us finish this production, and helping us cover the cost of marketing it and getting it into more theaters, which gives us better odds of making a hit.
